This appliance had several features that aided greatly. The support blocks attach with Velcro and can be adjusted some or can be removed. It is lightweight and can be moved to a table or tray to remain face down while sitting or traveling in a car. They also had openings between them where a CPAP hose could be routed. The surface on top is slightly fuzzy and doesn't get sticky or absorb moisture from the face but is easily washed and dried. The side arms aided by supporting the shoulders and if not needed can be pushed out of the way. You will need other pillows under and around the torso to find a comfortable position.

I felt that the hole for the face was a bit too small, it does not work well on a soft mattress. Quality of product is decent though.

This pillow was invaluable to me. I had to have retinal detachment surgery and the recovery position for me was 7 days. Brutal is being kind. I ordered this pillow the day I knew I had to have the surgery and fortunately it came right away. I had to be looking down 24/7 for 7 full days and this pillow was one of the things that helped me be successful. It worked very well when laying face down on a couch or in bed.Not sure what I would have done without it.

The face hole on this is very large for a female face. The fabric is very soft and comfortable. I suppose if you are male, or female with an extra large face this might work for you. Otherwise buyer beware.

Comfortable on the face, but I am having issues with low back and shoulder pain so can only use it for a little while.

Doesn't support shoulders, maybe a child's shoulders. Built cheap. This a real review.

I have suffered from three detached retina with macula surgeries. The first two were about six years ago and they really didn’t have pillows like this. My latest one was just a couple of months ago and immediately I was like I’m getting the pillow. I was able to put this pillow on my bed and lay down comfortably in the prom position. And for the amount of time that you have to do this throughout the day, this pillow is a lifesaver it’s soft it’s comfortable there is no pressure points where I felt like it was pushing too hard on my face or my forehead. I highly recommend this pillow.

The inner seam actually hurt my chin when resting my face. The pillow kept my face up but did not stay in position. Also the plush fabric became very warm.
