The Tiger Corsair is based on the original Onitsuka Tiger trainer that kick-started the jogging boom of the 1970s. The Tiger Corsair introduced increased cushioning, arch cookies, full-length midsole and a thicker heel for greater shock absorption. The new release introduces a modern suilhouette while maintaining the same design elements that made the original Tiger Corsair shoe such a sporting and lifestyle success.

My 20-year wait is over!
I bought Onitsuka Tiger sneakers about 20 years ago, though I didn't know the brand name at the time. They were so comfortable that a year later I returned to the store where I'd bought them, wearing them, and asked a salesman if they still carried them. He said no, acted like I was an idiot for even asking, and had no interest in helping me track them down. It's taken me 20 years, since there was no branding outside or on the sole, to think to hunt for a label inside (incidentally, I'm still wearing them even though the leather's peeling a bit, but they've held up; granted, till Covid times I didn't often wear sneakers). The still-legible label told me the brand and the style number--the latter, unfortunately, no longer being offered or else they've just changed the number--as well as the size. So I tried to find the style closest to mine in looks, at least in the picture. The only pair they had in my size (7 1/2--they come in half sizes!) were black, exactly what I would have picked given a choice. Ordered them and they fit just like the originals, perfectly. One difference: These have no laces, a little detail I didn't notice. Or, rather, since many of the other colors were laced, I rationalized they didn't lace up this pair so it would look cleaner in the photo or they couldn't be bothered. My bad. But, actually, my good. I'm at an age where the less struggle required to get into a shoe, the better. Never would have intentionally ordered a slip-on sneaker, but what a great idea! How long have they been around--like, forever and I just didn't notice? And they actually stay put. Why the super-low stock, though? Now that I've found them I want more, with or without laces!

Great deal great shoe.
This is a great shoe, great style and the colorway. Makes it noteworthy and honorable. Since it's appreciable to Bruce Lee's landmark film and outfit "The Game of Death". They fit true to size and the colorway again is awesome and pays homage to Bruce Lee.
