I purchased this bamboo mat because I had tried many bathtub mats without success as they were hard to clean and eventually developed mildew. This mat works beautifully!!! I am so glad I bought it!! The mat is built really well, very sturdy. Good craftsmanship is very apparent. The edges are all rounded so it is very comfortable to stand on while bathing, no sharp edges. On the bottom side all the screws are surrounded by a material that grips well to the tub surface, prevents movement and prevents scratching of the tub floor. I just stand the mat up and lean it against the side of the tub once I'm done using it and it dries quickly. So simple and easy. I would but this product again readily. The Bamboo Mat arrived as expected with no delays. Fine product, much appreciated!!

I am using this outside as a door mat in a low lying, flood prone area. It looks great after a few weeks and daily use in high heat. It seems pretty tough since the area is not level and it does have uneven distribution of weight on it. I was surprised how slick it gets when wet, but we aren't a fall risk so I think it is ok. No mold identified yet.

This is a great bamboo mat. I use it in the shower. I feel weird standing on flimsy fiberglass in the cheap shower they put in my house. This makes it much nicer. I take it out of the shower and lean it up against the wall on a towel to dry each night. Anyone that expects wood and bamboo to be free of mold over time if they use this in their shower has unreasonable expectations. Letting it dry after each use should make this last a long time.It's quite sturdy and seems well made. I expect this should last quite a while, and when it starts breaking down, it can go into the yard waste bin after pulling off the feet, keeping it out of the landfill.

Part that you stand on works great & is sturdy, however, for a product that is supposed to be "waterproof" or at least used in a wet area, they did not use the correct screws. Only used it for a week and it started leaving rust stains on the floor from the screws getting wet on the bottom.

It's a nice mat. I really prefer solid bath mats as opposed to carpet ones. This one is a little small in terms of surface size, but it's solid and it looks good. It's also a little bit tall off the floor, so be careful if your door needs to open over it.

I prefer a wood bath mat as opposed to a carpet for sanitary reasons. So I read some reviews on this and for the money, it looked like a great bet. The first one arrived broken straight out of the box. The slats are only held on by very short staples, and on two of the slats, they had pulled away from the base. I returned it and received the replacement quite quickly. The new one was in-tact, but I still feel like these aren't put together great. Perhaps some wood glue in addition to the staples would make it feel more sturdy. That said, it just stays in one place and so far after a few months of use still looks great and has held up to daily use.

Bought for the shower in the boat. Worked great last year however they did not use stainless steel screws so now I have rust spots in white fiberglass floor and it had mold in the bottom of it. No, there was no standing water in the shower.

I was looking for something to put in front of my shower that'd be antimicrobial, and look nice in my bathroom; this is it!It gives my boring bathroom a nice spa-like quality, and fits the opening to my shower perfectly. It's not slippery, and very durable, so it's pretty safe, in my opinion.To catch any water that may get on the floor, I put an absorbent wee pad for dogs under the mat. :pI really like this mat, and am glad I bought it. I highly recommend it.
