- 1) Excellent surround sound
The chromebook is oddly satisfying!! pros:- 1) Excellent surround sound, crisp and clear even at full volume. can't get any better! 2) Amazing battery backup. the chromebook lasts for about a 10 hours of heavy usage. At low brightness and moderate level functioning it can last for about 20 hours. 3) Rugged design as promised. Never really have to worry about handing it over to friends and of course about the spills on keyboard (never really tried though). 4) compact design with great touch response. 5) multitasking is fun as the chromebook is fast. it rarely shows up with lags. cons:- 1) keyboard isn't backlit. 2) comparatively small as compared to the other chromebooks in the market. 3) not provided with lavish design (due to military grade design)conclusion:-On a personal level I really love this chromebook.highly Recommended only if it solves your purpose.

This is the Chromebook that I have been waiting for...
I had spent time over the last 2 years researching Chromebooks. The purpose of the Chromebook for me is to use at my job and for travel. I also had a long list of requirements and preferences. This is the only Chromebook at the moment that fit all of my requirements.Last year I purchased a smartphone with a Type-C charging port and considering it will probably be the way that all devices are going to be charged in the upcoming years I wanted a Chromebook with a Type C charging port. This Chromebook has two Type-C charging port, one on both sides which means it can be charged from either side. This also means that if I forget my Chromebook power brick somewhere I can use any Type-C charger to trickle charge the laptop. Meaning I can charge it from a portable battery, computer, USB port... etc. The power brick that came with the Chromebook, it too can be used to charge my smartphone with its Type-C charging port... this makes carrying around the power brick much more useful and worth the weight in my carry-on bag. Speaking of charging at the moment the Chromebook is new it has a long battery life, I imagine this will slowly decrease over time, but at the moment it's great. The color of the Chromebook is much more attractive compared to the previous version. I believe this was designed for the classroom setting, so it's seemed to be pretty rugged. In my job and for my type of travel I needed something very rugged. The screen is matte which helps to eliminate the reflections and for a Chromebook, it's what I wanted, so although some might not like that... for me it's great. I like that I can flip it around and that it can be used as more of an iPad type device if needed and be used as a touchscreen device. It's smaller than my laptop but just big enough, so 11.6 I think is a perfect size, as it will fit in any carry on bag and it's less weight. The operating system runs better than I imagined I have all the apps and access that I needed. It seems like everything is very customizable and that I can sync my google chrome experience from the computer, to the laptop, to the Chromebook. To me, the Chromebook is more of an access point to the online world... I got it for about 350 CAD, where I travel and work the Chromebook is very likely to be lost, stolen or broken, now with this device, it's no longer the end of the world. They give 100GB of storage with Google Drive which I now use for bigger files, documents, and photos between devices. I use Dropbox to save web links... I might change this in the future but for now, that's my setup. The only thing I needed to be saved on the device are the apps and if it lets me a few of the files that I'd regularly be having to download such as a local map or maybe 1 or 2 episodes on Netflix for the bus or train ride without quick internet. It connects to my smartphone hotspot without any trouble. The rest of the device and operating system I am still learning... I had a few troubles the first days but I searched online for solutions which answered my questions and solved most of the problems. For example, 2 fingers on the touchpad can be used to scroll up or down. For me, I did not know that was possible until doing a search on "how to scroll up or down on a webpage on a Chromebook" as they've removed the arrows keys from the scroll bars, little things like that take getting used to so just be patient as you take time to adapt. I have yet to test the cameras. The speakers seemed to work good enough for my needed.Overall 5 stars. I'd buy this Chromebook again if it breaks, is lost or is stolen. I also recommend this Chromebook to anyone with a Type-C device already. Asus did a great job with this device.... even the minimalist and recyclable packaging.

Not what I was looking for
It truly is geared to kids. I tried it for a few days and found the device adequate but was not what I was looking for.I returned it for the much nicer looking and faster Asus Flip C302CA. Yes it cost a lot more but I wanted a device to use during my meetings and interviews, the C213 did not have business look to it especially when making a presentation, the screen does not compare to a premium tablet. Not to mention its processor is a lot slower if you plan on doing a lot of multitasking. I also found that yes, the screen was anti glare, but it was also very grainy looking. No where near as nice as the C302. But thats what you pay for, its a durable device for light tasks and really meant for students or people who will be using this on Job sites where drops and jostles are common. If was travelling more, id seriously consider this for its durability and have peace of mind it will last. The C302 is a bit of a safe queen and wont travel as much...it just looks so much nicer!
