This dual density laminate features a 1/8" thick outer layer of 65A durometer foam. This foam is as firm as a car tire making one incredibly tough pad. ****** ERGONOMIC MOBILITY AND COMFORT: Our padded shorts include 7 individual pads that have been specifically engineered and crafted with the proper spacing to provide a complete range of motion while still maintaining the cushioning you need to protect yourself. They are designed to minimize the gaps between pads and provide maximum coverage. All of our pads are pre-shaped with beveled edges providing a contoured fit that will keep them right where you need them when you meet up with the next hard surface. ****** BREATHABLE POWERMESH SHORTS: Tortoise Pads® padded shorts are made from a durable spandex power mesh outer fabric for strength and a finer power mesh liner for comfort. The mesh fabric provides great breathability while the spandex give the stretch needed for comfortable movement. There are slits on the inside of the shorts for removing the pads so you can customize the protection for the areas you prefer. The shorts can be washed with the pads in or out.
