This product is well made and weatherproof. It seems like it would have been a VERY easy fix to add a switch that silences the sound that humans can hear. Other than that, I am very happy.

Gets two stars instead of one because it came and it makes noise diy bark at it. As to stopping barking that only Worked like once for my dog just because it surprised her. After that she just ignored it even when it did go off. The tone is very loud and dog has to bark right at it. So if you have an easily scared dog who only barks in precisely one direction this might work for you. 😏 If I can find the package I’ll send it back. Also, please note they sent me a postcard that said they would give me a $30 Amazon card for a five star review. Not going to lie for $30, but I bet a fair number of people do. Also, I truly thought ultrasonic meant like a dog whistle, though that probably wouldn’t have had much effect on her either given she didn’t give a hoot when it did go off. It just added to the chaos of the barking fest.Back to actually working on real training with positive reinforcement and patience. That’s the only thing that works with her (Icelandic Sheepdog—smart and not easily scared). Good luck everyone

We moved to a new home 4 years ago. Our neighbor's little dog would come out from the garage doggy door (which was next to and higher than our garage) and bark at every bird, person and even when no one was around....Grrrrr, very anoying. Unfortunatey, our "friendly" neighbor didn't give a rats patootie about this annoyance. I even asked if she could keep her dog inside until after 9 am and after 10 p.m.....That lasted about a week. The first few days (after I installed the Zlolen on a nearby tree), I thought that the dog didn't come out because I didn't hear it barking. Was it a coincidence??? Then one day, work was being done outside on the street. This would normally drive our neighbor's dog bonkers. Then I noticed the dog was outside the doggy door just looking at the workers. No barking!! WHAAAAT? I'm not sure if maybe the dog barked when I wasn't home and the machine's sound set the dog straight, but I am not complaining!!! Peace and quiet is a good thing!!!A great product!!!

This product worked great for 3 weeks then just quit. Fully charged and no result.

Easy set up. So far it seems to be working. My neighbor had several dogs and it makes sitting ony deck at night annoying. I got this to curb her dogs from barking

i bought this to deter my neighbors dog from barking at every gust of wind that comes along. disappointment set in right away. there is a slider on the front of this thing that has no real explanation. they try in the manual, but each setting has the same description so there is no way to know what they are for. in addition there is a square wave, a tiny noise looking signal, and a large noise looking signal. that isn't intuitive. i found no real difference between any of the settings.the next part is one of the mains reasons why i bought it and that is the 50ft range that it claims. i put this thing ~15ft from the fence line and it detected nothing. even when the dogs were barking right at it nothing was happening. i tried all settings, nothing. yes the battery was fully charged.you change the settings and go "WOO" to test it. it barely works. then it beeps at you. in the documentation is states you will not hear the beeps as they are ultrasonic. well you hear it. it is loud and annoying but you hear it.i eventually moved the thing to 8ft away from the fence and it FINALLY worked when the dog was barking and yes, it did make him stop. but the dog had to be bark almost directly at the thing to work. off to the side even by 5-6ft it would not triggerso when it works, it seems to be effective. getting it to work seems like you either need to place one every 8 feet or follow the dog around and point it at him/her (which defeats the purpose). i bought mine for $25, i feel like i overpaid

Our dog is a very anxious pup and barks at any car noise he hears. This is by the front door and it sounds on his first bark. He will usually get one more bark in before he realizes it unpleasant. It will go off when a human sneezes or coughs so just be aware of that.

Great product, since I got this my dog has stopped the unnecessary barking and it's been great.

The product was really good for bigger dogs, but it did not always capture my teacup chihuahua’s bark. I suggested my sister to get one for her bigger dog.

Easy to instal and solidly built. Works very well in backyard and in the house, limited efficiency when playing in water (ie if you leave it on the beach but play fetch with your dogs - does not work as well)

We have two big dogs and do not want them to bark when we go camping. We purchased this before our trip and received it quickly. It works as stated and the battery lasted for our entire 5 night trip with no issues.
