Not identical, but change is good
Overall, I'm very happy with this replacement key fob. I decided to get it to replace my 2011 sonata's fob after the leather strap finally broke (after 12 years of use). At first glance this item is identical, with a few minor differences/improvements:-The buttons are rubber, built into the sealing gasket, instead of the loose plastic bits in the OEM model-This model has an indicator light for when the buttons are pressed, to help you make sure that the fob isn't dead or somethingFor my uses, the electronics in my original key were still working fine, so I was pleased to find that I could just swap the electronic board over from my old fob into the new one and it works perfectly, saving me the cost of bringing it into a shop for reprogramming. I also swapped the "panic alarm" button over from my old to the new, because its slightly more recessed to avoid accidental presses.

Close to OEM
Not bad, my old remote was in terrible shape, this one looks spic and span! Installation was simple, but Hyundai seriously hides the button. Go watch some tutorials and hunt for that thing!
