My husband and I both used this cream before our tattoos, and we didn't feel any pain. My daughter even used the cream before getting a flu shot, and she couldn't feel the needle. We followed the directions and let a thick layer of cream set for 30 min while covered in plastic wrap, then removed the wrap and wiped of the cream. The area was fully numb within an hour or so, and lasted several hours after application.

First I had my doubts about some cream that would reduce the pain of a tattoo but this thing actually works. I had 2 big tattoos done with it and still have some left more for the next one. Quick advice- wait 30 mins and ask your tattoo guy to not take longer than 3-4 hours per session.

I bough this product to use for a new tattoo. I have used several different kinds of numbing creams and even lidocaine over the counter. This product is AMAZING!! I was nervous at 1st when reading the reviews before purchase because everyone’s pain tolerance is different! I did my usual clean, lather, and wrapping of clear wrap where I was going to get my tattoo. I placed it on about 2hrs before my appointment. Even after arriving and spreading maybe a hour for the prep, once it was time to start I couldn’t feel a thing! Now my tattoo was prototype big whole leg/thigh. He started with the outline and when I tell couldn't feel NOTHING EXCEPT for the places I did NOT apply the cream! Shading gets around and yes I did start to feel the needle, but I mean of course it’s shading lol but not a bad feeling! About 5-6 hours later my leg was STILL NUMB, yall I tell you the best cream I’ve used so far! WILL BE PURCHASING AGAIN THANK YOU!

I’ve tried other numbing creams in the past that weren’t effective so I didn’t have very high hopes for this one. I read the reviews on this and slathered this on thick and wrapped in plastic wrap for about 1.5 hours before my appointment for my tattoo. Removed the plastic and the area was numb to the touch and still didn’t think very much about it. Let me tell you, my tattooist started tattooing and I literally didn’t feel a thing!! This stuff is amazing!! I could only feel pain in the areas where I didn’t apply as well but it was bearable. I highly recommend. My tattoo lasted 1.5 hours and the numbing cream as well thru it.

I have a large collection of tattoos, but with an upvoming appointment I was anxious about pain as I’d had a major surgery since my last piece and my pain tolerance has changed. This cream absolutely numbed my thigh for my large piece. Took 45 mins to go into effect, and the area stayed numb for the ENTIRE 4 hour tattoo session. 10/10 recommending.

I was skeptical at first but I went for and bought the product. If you follow the directions it works.. The only thing I did different was I exfoliated my skin and washed the area, then I put a thick layer of product on with a glove on my hand so the area got all the product then I wrapped it up until my tattoo and when I say I felt nothing I mean nothing I was able to sit for 4 consistent hours getting tattooed. I am working on my second sleeve it seems to be the older I get the less pain I can tolerate. But now that I have found this product I cant wait to get more tattoos...... buy buy buy If you follow the directions it will work.

I tested out on an area of my skin to ensure I wouldn't have a reaction prior to my tattoo appointment. The numbing is gentle, so you are still able to feel sensations, but the pain is lessened.
