REAL PLA (Polylactic acid or polylactide) is a hard thermoplastic, produced out of renewable sources like corn or starch. PLA has a relatively low melting temperature of 175C and is one of the easiest 3D printing material. PLA can be used for almost any 3D-object. PLA is an easy to use filament type and a very popular choice in the 3D printing community. It's possible to print very accurate and precise objects without a heated bed. Thanks to the great fluidity in molten state PLA is a great alternative for ABS. PLA can also get to higher print speeds. REAL PLA always has a stunning glaze, the printing temperature varies from 180C to 230C. The recommended setting is 210C. For the best results you can print at a speed between 40 and 80mm/s. All REAL PLA Filament has a magnificent deep colouring. REAL filament applies to all ROHS and REACH certificates. These certificates can be found and downloaded on the manufacturers web page. There is also a MSDS available.

Fluorescent Lime Green
My settings on an Anet A8 modified with bowden extruder all metal.Hotend 190C any hotter and it strings.Bed 60CRetraction distance 4mmRetraction speed 80mm/sGorgeous lime green colour that seems to almost glow in the dark. If it was under a UV light it would really pop. The only odd issue I have is that the end of the filament can become brittle. As in I keep the entire roll in a chest with silica. The last few inches for some reason go brittle, you can snap that off though and it is grand.

Must buy, top quality prints

Such A Shame
Real Filament changed the composition of this back in March which has changed the filament completely. It’s no longer a bright opaque green, it’s a more dirty translucent green. This listing is using an image of the old filament. My gut told me to send it back but I thought I’d give it the benefit of the doubt, it’s really very disappointing.
