The PSAT prep book reads as if you are reading a novel. It is a page turner in what you are learning and the anxiety you have is still there but now more manageable. The information is good and I will tell you why. I took a practice test and probably, if I am honest, flunked it. I am a college grad and a teacher and I felt dismal. I went and read the section that I should have read in the first place, on "Test Taking Strategies" and what words I should look for and THEN I did so well on the next practice test. I returned to the first quiz and checked over what I had not done well and I could see why. Truth be told this book prepares you very well to pass the exams with high scores, and even the information that you will retain on test taking will help you at university level classes. A must buy and read it all!!!!!!

My daughter can do alone at her own pace. Helping her understand sat.

The math section was not was not representative of this year’s PSAT. The ELA was adequate.

Lots of practice as well as explanation as to why the answers are correct for error analysis.

This book came to me like magic. I actually was looking for a reliable and good book to study for my PSAT. It's super friendly to read and understand, def I recommend it!!

Back in the day, I took this test and landed in the 99th percentile without any study aids. When I received a free copy of this test prep to review, I see the same tactics I used that nobody ever taught me in class. For all that "teaching to the test" gets slammed, this guide very effectively teaches critical thinking in preparation for the test, and an effective review of the math (it's been years, so I definitely didn't remember it on my own!)The cover advertises six (6) practice tests. There are two (2) in the book itself, and four (4) online.

They gave information on the format but the question samples were considerably easier than the actual test
