NOT WORKING PROPERLY-FALSE HIGH RADIATION LEVELS IN uSv/hr
I went bad after a few measurements. I constantly get values of 5 or 6 uSv/hr which are evacuation values.I had to buy another Geiger counter from a different company and measured side by side to confirm the preposterous levels reported by this product.Would return it if I could

Really handy piece or equipment to have
You never know you need one until you do, as a tradesman it’s always handy to know what’s stored or people have hanging around, whilst the shouldn’t be any radiation involved in my work it’s amazing what people put in the attic or cellar that really shouldn’t be there .. well worth the money if it saves you from unknown exposure to radiation..

Hope I never need it
Well made, easy to understand. Bought for the event of a major leak or detonation dirty bomb etc. Probably will never happen, but for £50 I might as well have it as a option....

Sensitivity less then desired. Confusing data interpretation
Sent this one back as I was disappointed with it's accuracy and ease of data interpretation. It did give readings but the sensitivity was less than I wanted.

Shake rattle and roll!
10 out of 10 for packing and presentation, 0 out of 10 for quality control! On opening the box and taking out the well packed unit I was intrigued by the rattle. Investigation revealed that both the battery and the glass receiver tube were loose and unsecured in the unit. The battery was completely dead, indicating to me that "quality control" could not have tested the device. (Had they done so, surely they would also have discovered the unsecured components?) I also saw that the components did not match the components pictured in the advert. I have not been able to test the device yet, but on present experience I would not trust it to be more than an expensive toy. Very disappointed! I certainly wouldn't trust it with my safety, and I advise you to give this dealer and this device a miss!

February 2024 purchase
Even though the battery and Geiger tube are not as advertised the replacement parts seem to work okay albert not as well as the originals (advertised).The firmware is everything it needs to be, clear and user friendly. For the price it is pretty good.
