Toyvian 50pcs Wood Rhythm Sticks Set for Kids Musical Drum Sticks

I got these because I needed rhythm sticks. They came in the mail and they are about the thickness of a pencil. Definitely not durable enough or thick enough for rythmn sticks.

If I was teaching a music or preschool class, I would hate these "rhythm sticks." They are not sturdy enough for long term or young kid use. They don't make that wonderful rhythm stick sound. But, I work with older kids (2nd grade) who are in their classroom and don't need rhythm sticks that are loud or cumbersome. And I travel from school to school, so the size is easier to transport. In that respect, these are perfect rhythm stick alternatives. In the past, I've used chopsticks or pencils as alternative rhythm sticks. These may be replacing those. They are small enough that they don't make a whole lot of noise but still serve their purpose and fit in my travel bag nicely.

Way too small to be called rhythm sticks

These colored dowels are great for crafting, but are advertised as rhythm sticks. As a teacher, I know these would not last in a music class. While the measurements given are accurate, two of the pictures show thicker sticks.
