I already had a K&F adaptor for Nikon lenses onto my Sony mirrorless camera but it didn't have a tripod mount so I ordered the Viltrox. Whilst the aperture ring isn't as easy to use with your eye to the viewfinder as the K&F adapter, it does have 8 click stops and has a good action. The tripod mount is great for heavier lenses on the very light Sony body when using a tripod and quality wise, it's a firm fit with no play or looseness on my camera body.Not thing I'm curious about - the supplied instructions say you should fit the adapter to the lens and then mount the combination to the camera, implying that leaving the adaptor on the camera and mounting lenses that way will affect the longevity of the adapter. I'd be curious to know whether all mount adapters are best used in the way described by Viltrox.

Good solid build quality, using this on a Sony a6000 body for Nikon lenses which I have a few of but didn't want to sell, super fit with no sign of any movement, I like the aperture ring which is why I bought it...UPDATE: aperture ring sticks wide open didn't notice at first because the camera was doing the work, but in full manual it opens and doesn't close illness you hit the thing tried it in 3 lenses to make sure it wasn't the lens itself, it wasn't, stuck open in all I tried, maybe it was this unit I don't know but I'm returning it, it's useless to me.
