No moulds included
I am a new convert to UV resin.Ive used 2 part resins which seem a bit of a faff when you can now get this easier to use stuff. The liquid is poured into a mould (silicone is good , you don't get any in the kit though the jug can be used as one) and you shine a dark torch, uv lamp or sunshine onto it and it is very fast curing. This kit comes with some little phials of glittery stuff. One is weeny little pastel coloured hearts. The orange and green are just 'glitter' and the blue red and gold have some shapes but mostly glitter. Two bottles of resin are included in light proof plastic. There are spouts for each bottle to allow easy dispensing. To use the resin, you can pour it into a mould and add the glitter or any other thing you want to add.You are best making layers for larger things to allow the shapes to stay in place. If you put things in expecting them to stay suspended, they fall to the bottom.A layer takes literally a couple of minutes to cure with a UV light source.I have a dark torch which works perfectly to cure it, you can also use a UV lamp such as you might get for nail curing. The sunlight works but I think the torch is quicker.Moulds need to be able to allow light through. There is a very small silicone jug included for pouring, It isnt round so cant be used as a round mould but its useful to allow mixing in glitter for differing layers. There are two very basic pipettes which will be one use only as there is no way to remove any cured resin from them.A pair of plastic-bag type gloves are included. Two thin plastic spatulas. All in all it is a nice little set to get the basics of using UV resins.Handy for dolls house crafting , jewellery etc

Not excited
Have used a number of these kits over the last six months, this was one of the less exciting ones. Firstly no moulds. That alone means you will have to spend more for a basic kit. You do get some small containers of glitter, gloves a small mixing bowl and stirrers.I can understand the enthusiasm for UV resin; no mixing, no smells, quick setting, but it doesn't really work for anything thinker than a few millimetres. The resin here, like many begins to set within a few minutes, worse like all UV resins it will normally set from the the top where the UV light from the sun, your lamps or whatever is strongest. This will most likely trap bubbles unless you are very vigilant - especially if you are trying to embed objects. It's great for jewellery if you have suitable moulds or for other small shallow items. This set is OK. The absence of any moulds loses it a star. As an introduction it's ok.

Top-Up Kit For Established UV Resin Artists
This is merely a top up kit for people who already use and are familiar with UV resin.I would not consider this to be a suitable set for beginners as nothing is included that you need to get to the end product.Moulds not includedUV lamp to cure is not includedThe best thing about this pre-made mix of UV resin is that you haven't got to mess around measuring and mixing ratios of 'A + B' and the waiting time to cure is reduced dramatically when using UV cured resin, which depending on the strength of your lamp, could be cured in less than 5 minutes.

it sets crystal clear.
Will care it is possible to produce some nice items with this little kit. But be careful, as it is also possible to make a real mess ! On the upside the small bottles are easy to control and are single part if you want it clear. On that, it sets crystal clear.

200g of UV resin
You don't get any molds which is annoying, so if you don't already have some, you'll need to buy some. The resin itself doesn't smell, but it's quite viscous so be aware that bubbles are an issue. It sets nicely under my UV lamp and didn't have a sticky surface. 3 minutes in and it hasn't yellowed, so that's a good sign. For the price, this is a good UV resin.

Really easy to use
UV resin. This was easy to use for experience or beginners. Each camp in a small squeeze bottle with a nozzle of ready yo go resin. Just squeeze a little into the mould you are using then use a UV light to set it quickly. Between 5 - 20 mins depending on the size of the mould. This cannot be used on a very big mould due to the amount of resin in the bottle.

Fast cure.
My sister has been using resin for many months now, and she even sells her creations. However, she much prefers UV resin to the standard resin. This UV resin takes as little as 2 minutes to cure under a powerful UV lamp, and can also be done in 20-40 minutes in just sunlight without the need for a lamp. This short time is much better and allows my sister to create more stock in little time. She can also get orders done at greater speed. The resin cures perfectly under the lamp, and it is rigid and ready to use. It is crystal clear and doesn't bend and my sister is over the moon with the quality and results. The only complaints from us are the size of the bottles. It is much easier to use, but you cant use it for long because the bottles don't give you much for your money. It is great quality stuff thought, and I cant recommend it enough, especially for people who create lots of resin crafts.

Much better than expected
I have used many UV resins and epoxy resin and always looking to try new ones. For this one, at £15 for 200g, it's excellent value but cheap doesn't normally equal good so I wasn't expecting much from this. It's really is excellent though -Positives:- it doesn't smell (at all)- it's really clear (when it dries)- it's mid viscosity so can be used for doming or filling- it cures super quick (be careful using it in sunlight, you'd need to be quick)- no stickiness after curing- self levels wellNegatives:- it starts setting as soon as you pour it out the bottle so you need to work quick!- it looks yellow under the UV light but clear in daylight- it sets so quick I had some bubbles where my alcohol spray didn't get to it in time.
