Worked amazing with no effort
Posted this review using the product and the setup couldn’t have been easier! Plugged it in and ran an Ethernet cord from my router to my garage where I put it and I have signal further than I expected by far! For the price I’m shocked it worked so well and would definitely recommend using an Ethernet cord as I did for the best signal possible

Results IRL Not Reflective Of Specs- But You Get What You Pay For
Many factors come into play between what a device can do under ideal circumstances and configurations. Still, my 400 Mbs internet connection at my central modem versus the speed when it gets to my backyard home office (about 100 feet) is 30 Mbs on my 5 Ghz band. With this range extender, the rate was approximately the same still (even though I placed it halfway or in the room nearest my backyard home office, between my central modem and my office- the only real difference was the signal was more stable, which is something- luckily I bought another range extender/wireless bridge because I have a VoIP office phone, and swapping the two in their respective roles gave me better results. In short, compared to the TP-Link RE220, it is weaker in range extension than the Tp-Link RE220. Still, it was easier to get this device to work as a wireless bridge than the TP-Link RE220, which was ironically what I bought the other unit to do initially since it specified it could do that in its specs and produce information on Amazon. The only frustrating part is that on the same side of the room, my range extender (when testing either device mentioned), which is about 40 feet from the central gateway modem, the Mac computer pulls in ~400 Mbps from the gateway modem. At the same time, the repeaters could only pop out, even within a couple of feet of them, register (Andriod phone and said Mac running by Ethernet from the repeaters only) a signal with a top speed of just barely 100 Mbps. Placing the repeaters within 10 feet of the central gateway home modem and comparing the rate only registered ~150 Mbps, getting the top Mbps speed in a typical house set-up is unlikely. Thus, the specs must have been taken in an open lab with nothing between the originating internet modem/router and the devices themselves... Moving the units in repeater mode closer to the house towards the modem only made the signal that reached the home office weaker- thus negating any benefits of the repeater sending out a faster signal due to being closer to the main home modem/router.One ding I give both devices is that I was unsuccessful in using the Wi-Fi-based set-up option based on logging onto the default mode signal from the unit and putting in the specified URL to access the set-up wizard. There was an app one could use, but I only had success getting to work by plugging each device via their respective ethernet ports to a dedicated computer with an ethernet port and accessing it through the ethernet connection. Otherwise, the setup would fail once the Wi-Fi configuration changes took effect. I'm glad I had an ethernet cable and the intuition and computer savvy to use it that way (it is in the instructions- but how to get it to set up through the ethernet connection is not as spelled out as lower-skilled users could need to achieve success), or I would have never gotten either device to work as intended. Devices like these are why less tech-savvy people hire people to set up their computer networks.

Disappointed
The extender information stated a great area coverage. I bought this one to substitute another one (Heytek). No improvement whatsoever; instead, less area covered.

Works Great! Setup is frustrating tho.
So I have 3 of these things, they work amazing. I recently changed my internet from Bell to Cogeco (Canada). The bell system I had came with five small pods, but I had to rent them, cost me $8/mth. Bell was very very expensive. The other provider Cogeco came to my door and offered me a great deal so I changed systems, that system came without odds. So I had them send me one pod, and it did help. They called it a "superpod" but it wasn't that super because it didn't do the upstairs or the basement in my house. So they sent me another pod, and that thing wouldn't connect in the basement or upstairs to the one on the main floor. So it was pretty much useless. When they install the system because of the age of my home and the plaster walls and brick, the installer told me that I would probably need a mesh system (the sales guy said it wasn't necessary 😳). So was pricing out mesh systems and they were very expensive. I already had a really great modem from my provider so I just needed to extend the signal. I remembered that I had used signal boosters back in the day, so I decided to try these out before I went to a full mesh system which would have cost me over $500 for the area I needed to cover and the li my limitaions of the houses structure, so I bought two, and immediately I had Wi-Fi upstairs. I even had a signal in the basement now. However, it needed to be stronger, so I bought a third. And now I can watch movies, my kids can play video games, or use the Wi-Fi throughout the entire house, on the porch or on the deck, entire property too, even from my car sitting in the driveway. So for the price, these things were great, the only caveat is that they were a bit confusing to install, I consider myself to be quite tech savvy, and I found it to be frustrating. First of all, the instructions are tiny. They are so small. You can hardly read them, second of all, there is some broken English in the instructions. And it assumes you know that you are going this on your phone. It doesn't tell you to disconnect from your wifi.Basically, what you need to do, is to use your phone to disconnect from any Wi-Fi networks in your house. And then search for new networks, when the network comes up for the extender thing, you'll be able to recognize it because it tells you the network name in the tiny tiny writing. When you see it you need to click on it, and that will take you into what is basically a setup web page, and from there you can sign in. Make sure you get the password right, because if you don't you're going to have to reset the entire thing. There are reset instructions in the tiny tiny writing, I know bc I had to do this. I would suggest perhaps using the same password as you have on your main modem, once it's set up. You'll know because the lights will be blinking, and they work instantly, you will need to connect your devices to the new network. They work great, make sure you set up both the 5G and the 2.4. cuz the 2.4 has a much larger range than the 5G. And also set up your phone to automatically connect to the network, so that it will hand off from one part of your house to the other automatically. For the price and the amount of square footage that these things cover, I think these are a great deal. If you can get past the difficult setup, you're golden. If you unplug them and plug them into a different area of the house, once they're set up, they will still work. So you can move them around and not have to do the whole setup again. If you're not very tech savvy, especially with using your phone. Ask for help, and make sure you put on your reading glasses, or if the person who is helping you has great eye site that's a bonus. Buying these things saved me hundreds of dollars, I don't have to listen to my kids whine anymore about the fact that they can't play their video games in every single room of the house. And I can watch my streaming services upstairs in my bedroom with the door closed, the internet is now everywhere. I was a little concerned about privacy and security, but my phone is telling me that I'm on a safe network, and since I'm extending the network, rather than creating a new one. I have the safety and security benefits of my cable hosting provider, and the original modem they gave me working to keep my network secure and safe. Plus I have Norton on my phone, and it has a VPN. I will be sending back my 2, $5/mth each pods too! 😁😁😁 Thank you to the manufacturer of this wifi extender, it's a great product, you just really need better instructions and larger lettering on them.

REALLY, REALLY DISAPPOINTING!!!
I bought it in October, 2023! Today, it stopped extending and my 2.4G (no built-in 5G) TV cannot stream 4k anymore, only the built in Samsung tv channels work (not 4K). Thats probably because my tv is picking up faint signals from my actual router on the other side of the house. This thing worked perfectly for two months only! My router shows that the extender is OFFLINE, yet the two bands 5G and 2.4G still appear on my available networks list! The craziest thing is that the 2.4G band now appears as only 2G!!! (Unbelievable). I tried resetting at least 10 times with no results! Stay away, it's not worth it. Spend extra bucks and get some quality!

For cameras
Bought this for outdoor cameras to extend wifi reach. Works great, video streams load very quick now. Can't complain.

Prompt delivery
Thought this would help with our WiFi signal. Turns out it was our cables that were weathered. They did help while we needed them.

Useful tool
It was easy to install, the help online to make it work was very simple to follow, and we did not have any problems since.
