Perfect!
Right out of the box I was skeptical , so I hooked the antenna up just to see if it worked. Well it did and worked so well I didn't even have to scan for channels as I did with my previous antennas. 5 stars!!!! Tip... If you had a previous satellite company disconnect the cable into splitter from satellite , attach the antenna cable into the in connection of splitter and all the previous wired TV's now receive the antennas signal. Definitely recommend this product!!!

Amazing reception, easy installation.
I recently cut the cable giving up on satellite TV with recent terrible customer service. I was skeptical about the mileage rating for the antenna. I first installed this along the fascia of my house near where the satellite dish was, using that coaxial cable. I live along the coast in Southern California and was happy to get 26 channels with good signal, including all my local stations and several from Tijuana. I had also ordered a regular mount for this and installed the antenna on that a couple days later. Now got 60 channels including several from LA that according to transmitter maps are 90 miles away. That means it works well for transmitters from opposite directions. Picture quality is great and it was easy to install. It feels a bit lightweight, so I can conclude anything about durability. Overall, very happy with this antenna and would certainly recommend to a friend.

Don't bother
I have an $8 antenna stuck in a paint roller frame on a 5 ft handle stuck in a boat trailer winch post that gets 8 more channels and has better signal than this thing mounted in the same area on a 15 ft pole. Waste of money will return.

Easy Installation but range is good but not quite as proclaimed.
This omni-directional antenna is very easy to install and works very well. Living in Green Valley, AZ I can pull in all the stations from Tucson which is easily 25 miles away. I don't think you could get 65 mile reception unless under ideal conditions. But overall, I think this antenna is about as good as you can get in an omni-directional antenna. I would recommend it to anyone living within 40 - 45+ miles from station towers.

Nothing Special
This antenna performed no better than, and sometimes worse than, the Mohu Leaf. I still was unable to pull in channel 2 even with those poles on the side. I sent it back.

Not all HDTV antennas are the same.
Hello there.First let me explain my TV setup. I am a very frugal person. That’s another word for cheap. My primary TV has a cable box that’s so cheap and no frills that the cable company doesn’t charge me rental. I don’t even use it. The high end modem and router are mine because I don’t want to be charged monthly rental fees. The only reason why I have a cable box is because the double package is cheaper than just Internet service. Go figure. Some years ago I bought an HD antenna for the secondary TV. I primarily wanted to get ABC because GMA is my morning news source. It works just fine except a few OTA channels don’t always come in clear or just not at all. During some re-arrangements of my setups I plugged the HD antenna into a new TV. Not even ABC which broadcasts from the next town over didn’t come in. I thought it was the TV.So I bought this Lmeison Supper (HA supper) thin HDTV indoor antenna. When it came I immediately thought this wasn’t going to work. Very long cable and the antenna is thinner than my older HD antenna. Then I plugged it into the new TV. All available OTA channels came in. ABC is more beautiful than using the cable box on my primary TV. Even the Spanish speaking channels came in with no “buffering” nice and clear. I don’t understand the language but sometimes the channels are just beautiful to look at. All of the other reachable OTA channels come in nice and clear. So this is proof that not all indoor HDTV antennas are the same. This was worth the $15 over futzing around with the cheaper brands.Available channels for me include ABC, Bounce, ABCHD, WZME (H&I), Works, Comet, E|I CptvKids, Cptv 4U, Cptv Sports, UniMas, another Spanish channel, GetTV, Escape.

Nice inexpensive compact antenna with good gain - but not necessarily for fulltime everyday use.
The antenna I received was labeled as a Nagoya antenna, and arrived in a nice yellow ziplock package including a very sincere looking Nagoya hologram label, but the seller makes no promises about this being an 'official Nagoya' product, so, as they say, your-mileage-may-vary ...There was no indication where the antenna was manufactured on the packaging, but the build quality is quite good. The only annoyance I have found so far is that this antenna does show the same tiny 0.2mm to 0.5 mm gap at the bottom when mounted on a UV-5R that I have seen others describing with their Nagoya antennas. You can easily fix this with a small shim washer or o-ring, but one was not provided with the antenna I received - but at the lower price I paid, I still rate the antenna a solid 4 out of 5 on value. It fits without a gap on my UV-82 and UV-3r+ (note that it won't work on older UV-3 models though because they don't use SMA--F antenna like the newer Baofeng radios)This antenna gives a very noticeable boost over the stock stubby 5 inch UV-5r and UV-3r+ antennas, but is not quite as impressive when compared with the better 7 inch Baofeng antennas provided on the UV-82 and BF-F8HP models. This is because the newer 7 inch Baofeng antennas provided with these models are actually fairly good, leaving less room for improvement.Basically this antenna tries to offer close to quarter wave vertical performance on 2 meters and 5/8 wave performance on 70 cm, which should offer a significant boost over your typical 'ducky' style compact antenna - but the sticking point is that its not easy to get the full theoretical gain advantage because, these antenna types are very dependent on having a good ground plane to work against, so when you are working hand held there is quite a quite a bit of interaction with your arm and body, and the antenna's actual gain and pattern will vary depending on how you are holding the antenna. If I take a moment to find the 'sweet spot' I find I can definitely get stronger signals on both receive and transmit, but this is not one of those automatically-better-under-all-circumstances type upgrades. For example, this is NOT a good antenna to use from inside a vehicle. When extended, this antenna is just a little too long and too fragile for full time use, and you can't use the antenna partially extended and expect to just get a little less gain - using the antenna at anything less than 100% fully extended completely de-tunes the antenna. This will cause very high reflected power, which could possibly damage your radio. For me the best thing about this antenna is that it is really compact when collapsed, so I can tuck it into a side pouch on my handy talky case and always have it along in case I need a little more gain for a distant repeater or simplex link.
