Great Product for Inside and Outdoors
I really like this bug zapper lantern. It's perfect for indoors and outdoors. I used it indoors to eliminate flies buzzing around our house especially in the kitchen area. It effectively killed several of them. It works most effectivly if you turn out the lights. I also used it outdoors on our back yard patio to kill misquitoes at night. I recently took it on a neighborhood campout and it was very popular. People used it to light thier card games at night and we had a guitar singer who used it to light up his lyrics while he played. It kept the misquitoes away and provided adequate light for everybody. I like how there is a solar panel on the top to charge the batteries if you're out in the woods without access to power. Great product. I highly reccomend it.

Doesn’t work
I allow this item to charge all day in the San Diego sun. In under a year it no longer holds a charge and only works for a few minutes. Worst still is that it doesn’t work. I keep it in the table next to me while watching our outdoor TV. I have heard it kill 2 bugs… far more bugs buzz around it nightly.

Almost perfect
In terms of why this works, there are a few more Pros than cons. It does light up brightly, attracting a wide range of pests. It also has two levels of brightness, which is great as I keep it in my room during the summer with my windows open and don't want a super bright light keeping me up all night. The solar panel does attract light and help it to charge but it is in no way a replacement for directly charging it in an outlet. The handle allows me to carry this around as I please and the wireless function does not restrict me from keeping it in particular areas where pests congregate that would otherwise be impossible with a corded unit; sometimes in my room there are these are persistently annoying fruit flies/ gnats that will fly around in one specific area or just close to my bedside lamp, around my face and phone as they are attracted to the backlight and it's incredibly annoying as they are so ridiculously small. The battery life of the unit is fair, a solid charge making this last for about one full day but you definitely need to recharge it during the daytime to have it remain useful if you plan to use it overnight. Cleaning out the tray is simple as it's just a matter of untwisting the bottom and shaking out the dead bugs. Finally, the lantern mode gives you a bright light to use in case of emergencies or while traveling down darkened hiking paths or even in your backyard at night. My biggest concern is that the battery life is definitely not as impressive as I would have hoped but I guess that's fair enough as I have the ability to place this anywhere I want in my home or outside to really get rid of annoying past flying around.

Two were great and one stopped working.
I bought three of these and really like them, but one of them stopped working - it only works when plugged in and the bug light won't ignite no matter what. So - 2/3 satisfied.

Not what I had hoped, but excellent customer service
They sound like they have lots of great features and would work really well. And they did work really well after I charged them on the USB cable and used them the first night. But then they don't recharge enough on solar power to continue to be able to turn be turned on every night. And yes I have them in good sunny locations. I'm not going to bring them in and charge them on a USB cable everyday to use them. I already don't like having to turn them on at night for them to work rather than them turning on automatically. And since they're covered in bugs from working well that first night, I don't feel like I can return them. UPDATE: after posting this review, within a couple of days they company contacted me and offered me a full refund. Much appreciated!

Effective bug zapper!
I recently purchased this zapper, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations! This product not only effectively eliminates pesky bugs but also adds a touch of elegance to my indoor space.First and foremost, the bug zapper functionality is outstanding. With a powerful UV light, it attracts and zaps mosquitoes, flies, and other flying insects effortlessly. One of the standout features of this bug zapper lamp is its versatility. It can be used both indoors and outdoors, providing protection wherever needed. Whether you want to enjoy a bug-free evening on your porch or keep your home free from flying insects, this lamp is up to the task. The bug zapper lamp is also low-maintenance, which is a huge plus. I put it on the charger with a provided USB-C cable and left it overnight. Shortly I started to hear zapping. LED light and solar panel are pleasant bonus. Finally, I greatly appreciate the safety features incorporated into this product. The bug zapper lamp is designed with a protective mesh grid, ensuring that children or pets cannot come into contact with the electric grid. This gives me peace of mind, especially when using it around my family.

USELESS
This product seemed to have no effect at all on mosquitoes. It was easy to use, nice to look at, and worthless. I'm sorry I didn't take advantage of the return time window. Now I am stuck with this thing.

Good, but doesn’t last
This is the second one of these I bought. They work well when they work. I had the last one for about a year and hadn’t used it for a while, but found it no longer worked when I went back to it. I bought a new one a little less than 2 months ago, and the solar charging (really the only way I use this, now no longer works. I’ll need to find a different alternative for my 3rd try.
