The material and stitching is strong. It has withstood several strong winds with no damage it continues to provide filtered sunlight, reducing porch temps by approximately 10 degrees.

This tarp does a great job of providing shade for the area I needed to cover. Although advertised as a 9x9 tarp, it is actually 8x8. It takes a 9x9 space to install it do to the connectors that come with it. The tarp itself is 8x8. It appears to be made with good material and made well. I like it, it’s just a bit smaller than advertised.

I had some reservations about purchasing it, but it turned out to be an ideal choice.

Items are sturdy and large. Just opaque enough to block out the sun and transparent enough to allow things underneath to grow. We live in Texas and this is a life saver for the garden and days outside.

This is not what you think of when you think of a sail shade. I imagined it to be a synthetic lightweight silky material. It is not. It is a rough synthesis weave. The “beige” color is a yellow woven with white. It does what it needs to do, but ultimately looks and feels cheap.
