I recently purchased this charging cable and was extremely disappointed. Despite the product claiming to support 48 amps, it simply cannot charge at that rate. My experience with it has been nothing short of frustrating and concerning.I tried using the cable three different times. The first time, it worked fine for about 2 to 3 weeks before my car started giving warnings that the charge plug was overheating. I returned the product and decided to give it another chance a couple of months later, hoping the issue had been resolved. Unfortunately, it hadn't. This time, the cable began overheating in less than two weeks. It couldn't charge my car at the maximum rate without overheating, even from day one.The situation worsened when the overheating problem escalated to the point where my car completely refused to charge, even at a slower rate, due to the connector becoming dangerously hot. This turned the cable into a fire hazard, as it was extremely hot to the touch and could easily start a fire.While the connections and the actual charging handle of the product appear to be of decent quality, this cable is clearly defective and should be pulled off the market. I strongly advise against buying this product unless you only plan to charge at about 6 kW per hour. Do not even attempt to charge at 11.5 kW.For reference, I had this cable hardwired on a 60-amp circuit and did not encounter this problem with any other cable. My car charges perfectly fine at the DC charger. The issue lies entirely with this defective product.

I recently had the opportunity to test out the EV charger with my Tesla, and I was very impressed. This charger is high quality and works extremely well. It comes with very thick cables and a nice wall-mountable charger station box and holder.I was particularly impressed with the charger's fast charging speed. It was able to charge my Tesla from 0% to 80% in just about 30 minutes. This is much faster than the standard charger that came with my car.The charger was also very easy to install. It comes with all the necessary hardware, and the instructions are easy to follow. I was able to install the charger on my wall in about 15 minutes.I was also happy to see that the charger has multiple safety certifications, including FCC, UL, and ROHS. This means that I can use it with confidence, knowing that it is safe and reliable.Overall, I was very impressed with the EV charger. It is a high-quality option that is perfect for Tesla owners who are looking for a fast and efficient charger.

This EV charger was super easy to setup, assuming you already have the correct outlet for it. The 25 foot cable is a great length and can reach just about anywhere you need it to. I really like that they made it easy to manage the long charging cable by giving you a place to hang it all. I am all about cable management, and they really thought that part through with this setup. It’s not the fastest charging EV charger I have, but it does have some nice features. I think that it is a nice outdoor charger that is easy to install and gets the job done.

Charger stopped working within months of purchase and professional install. Do not buy! Then zero support from Amazon or the manufacturer.

Unfortunately, I’ve not had success with this charger and my Kia EV6. Charges are often interrupted every 15 or 20 minutes. Dealership claims it’s because this charger is not high enough quality. Rather disgusted with the dealership as when I purchased the vehicle they suggested I find a highly rated charger on Amazon, which is what I did. Now that these charging problems have surfaced, they’re telling me that I failed to get an adequate charger and recommend a particular one that costs $800.

UPDATE:I had the chance to test this charger today with my Tesla Model 3. It works great and the car charges fine. Moreover, it charges at a maximum rate of 48A which is great. Unfortunately my dryer breaker supports up to 30A so I had to downgrade the Model 3 charge speed, otherwise the breaker switch would drop. Great charger, delivers well.========================================================================I got this Level 2 charger to use with my Tesla Model 3. It's not compatible out of the box but it can be easily converted to work with Tesla cars. First of all, I use my dryer outlet as a Level 2 charging power source for my Model 3. That means that I needed first to buy a 14-30 to 14-50 power outlet converter (thick yellow cable in my pictures) to be able to plug in this charger. The second thing that was needed was a J1772 adapter to connect the charging cable to the car. You can get both these accessories for less than $100, so it's not too bad.The product itself looks pretty cool. Big charging block, long 25ft cable that can reach all corners of your garage, wall mount for the charging handle. Very cool.I haven't actually tried the charger with my car yet, I need to do some cabling work first, but I will update this review as soon as I do. For now, based on what I see, 5 stars.

With my Genesis GV 60, charging is repeatedly stopped after very short periods of time. To charge from 48% to 80%, I had to restart the charger 29 times. Tech support offered no solution.

It overheated and melted in the charge port. Was easy to install but defective. Amazon wasn’t of much help.
