A Thousand Kisses Deep

I have a number of Chris Botti's CDs...later ones and decided to take a chance on an earlier collection. It was just as smooth and restful to listen to these beautiful renditions as the newer releases.

I have purchased many of Chris's CD's and this is my favorite. I highly recommend this CD...

Very Disappointed on this CD. I do have his "When I Fall In Love" CD which is EXCELLENT/GREAT/FANTASTIC......but this one has "canned-programmed" drum tracks which reminds me of bad "elevator music". Usually when musicians/artist use "canned tracks" they are trying to cut their production cost INSTEAD of hiring a REAL drummer. This CD sounds so bad IMO......I am literally trashing it. Hate canned music....yes...I'm a hater (LOL). If you love "romantic trumpet"...try Leif Shires "What a Wonderful World" CD. As good as Botti IMO.

This album is available to listen to as a part of Amazon Prime. I found that I listened to it many, many times, so I must like it. I bought it so that if Amazon removes it from Prime, I will still have it.

A great addition to my collection

Most my weekends with kids are spent listening to Botti, while cooking and eating brunch with the family. His music is soothing, nostalgic at times, very beautiful and harmonious. A true fan of his.

I wasn't sure based on the previews, but an occasional single on Pandora would attract my attention so I finally downloaded the albumn. It grows on me with each listening. Recommended if you like moody trumpet music, almost new age.

Some great trumpet playing but horrible backing reduced much of this to "musak". Deeply disappointing

As expected, this is one of his many CD's that are phenomenal. You've got to love Chris Botti. His music is so relaxing and mature.

Ideal music for evening relax.

I am a definite Chris Botti fan. The jazz elements are lighter than the heavyweights of jazz where you often lose the melody as they soar off in a splendid riff, but I like to be able to follow the tune and not lose it is the middle two-thirds of a song. The pop elements is only there as a base to build on. It is what Chris Botti does to each number that takes his work into a different world that soothes, stirs, and sends the senses soaring. A couple of gentle vocals add variety, but essentially this is Chris Botti taking his talents to another new level. Hot and cool, it is a pretty near perfect jazz-pop outing. If you aren't familiar with his work, this is a good place to start; just prepare to be deliciously surprised.

This is the first Chris Botti CD that I purchased and I was not disappointed. The music is wonderful listening and moves you to listen closely, dream of better days, lingering kisses and beautiful smiles.
