A top item to have in the car with kids on trips!
So MANY games! - I love that you can actually scroll through them by page so that it’s so much faster to get to one you’re looking for! - Nice quality - Retro for sure but still great way to kill the time in the car! - Decent battery life - (2nd player can use the plug in controller!) - 9.4/10 a boredom killer!

Many of the games are repeats of each other
Even though it claims to have many different games, many of the games are just a different version of other games and even worse, even the different games are weaker versions of the more popular games.

Extremely standard shovelware handheld
If you collect/play these unusual handheld systems, you know what you're getting. This one is a very basic system with some real games and a lot of unofficial games, and a lot of repeats. It plays smooth, and only occasionally has some odd screen colors due to weird ROMs. I'd love to one day see some company whip up a basic operating system that isn't a noisy nightmare of repeated, misnamed games. Just a little bit of care and organization would go a long way. For the money, this is probably a $20-range system, even though it feels nice and the buttons run smoothly, which is often a massive problem for these.I don't understand the Jackson Pollack /Dixie Cup spatter pattern here, and that's why I like it. This gets four stars for being a little weird, playing well physically, and for pretty much being exactly what you'd expect for one of these. But here's a review for the grandmas out there wanting to get this for their retro-grandkids who are into vintage NES gaming. This is probably not what your grandkids want; it's not a great introduction to what real 80s/90s gaming was like, and it won't have most of the classics they'll want to play. There ARE systems with removable memory that will have a nearly full complement of NES/SNES/etc. games that ring more true, but they'll probably cost a little more than this. They are well worth it.
