Up your game without spending a fortune. --+4 year update--
I Large Mouth Bass fish 4 out of 7 days a week. I have a dozen rods set up to fish specific baits. All my reels cost within +/- $30 of the price of this reel. I like a good, solid performing, dependable reel that does not cost too much. And I use the heck out of them. I waited on this one until "The Reel Test" featured it on his YouTube channel, and then I pulled the trigger. I wanted a light weight baitcaster to throw my plugs and jerkbaits. I liked the super light weight spool and dual braking system on this knowing that I would be able to ultra tune my casts. A light bait is the trickiest to throw on a baitcaster and this reel does it very well. I paired it with an Abu Garcia Ike signature model 7-3 High Strain Glass medium action delayed hook-set plug rod and spooled it with 10lb Sunline Sniper FC and it is absolute heaven to throw with this rig. The reel has a very high-precision feel- a controlled, consistent cast with a great range of adjustment. The precise whirring sound of the centrifugal brakes assures you that the dual braking system is working synergistically to give you the longest cast possible. It has a solid, smooth, silent retrieve, and an even, velvety drag action, Buy this reel and up your game without spending a fortune. I've fished it for over a month now, though harsh winter conditions, including rain, and it is continuing to perform like new.I cannot believe that 4 1/2 years of all season fishing have gone by since I bought this. It is still in my line up and has moved to a St. Croix 6-8 Mojo medium Heavy bass rod, my primary jerk bait rig. I bought the less line carrying optional shallow spool and can cast my lightest jerk baits out far easily. I have caught countless bass (and believe it or not Channel Catfish- biting on shad pattern jerk baits thinking it is a dying shad I guess) with it, and it is showing no signs of quitting. I could not be happier with the purchase, and if I could think of another rig to use it on that I don't already have, I would definitely buy another one. It is still the lightest weight reel in my line up and a pleasure to use for long sessions.

Great Value for the money
Piscifun Phantom Carbon, I like everything about this reel, I have nothing bad to say about the Phantom, I have a Lews and a Abu Garcia Black Max and this reel definitely out performs both of them. This reel cast a mile with no problems once you get it dialed in, The Phantom is very light and great on my arms and shoulders. This compares to a $250-$300 reel. The magnetic and centrifugal brakes work fantastic. When I used my Abu Garcia for the first time I was getting birds nest often, The Phantom I very rarely get birds nest, It was very easy to adjust the settings, And if I do its because of operator error, The black max is a nice reel also but the Phantom is my go to reel. I paired up the Phantom with a Abu Garcia Vengeance Rod and performs great, Very light setup, Trust me if you want a high end reel for a low end price the Phantom carbon is the reel for you, You will not be disappointed. The Phantom is made with high quality materials which is a plus when purchasing a reel. This reel should last me along time. My friend has the same reel which is why I had to have one, and I caught a 4lb bass on his Piscifun Phantom carbon with no issues at all, He had 30 lb braid on the reel and the Phantom performed very well, I was very pleased with how far it cast and how smooth this reel is.

Decent budget baitcaster
I'm not a professional fisher by any means but I found out this reel does NOT like when you try and use 10lb braided line on it. It bound and lashed constantly and I was ready to return it until I tried putting 17lb Fluorocarbon on it to see if it would help. Now it cast's decently and I only occasionally cause some minor backlash which can be quickly fixed by freespooling a little bit of line out. It's not a perfect caster by any means and I don't recommend this for starting out fishing but it performs well enough for me to make this my comfort reel for bass fishing. The magnetic brake and centrifugal brake system are a bit confusing at first as they each provide resistance and setting one will have some effect on the other. Take it slow and make many casts before adjusting one or the other.

Great buy. Highly recommended.
Phenomenal reel. Was worried it was going to have a cheap feel because of the weight, but that wasn't the case, the reel feels extremly well put together. Brake works great, all the adjustments work great. Probably will be buying another reel for another rod setup in the near future.
