Zinus Joy Large Wood Dining Table / Table only

I was looking for a table that would seat 6. This is a nice-looking table and is a great size for a small dining room. It's not as sturdy as our last table, though. It does jiggle if bumped or pushed on hard - not nearly as much jiggling as a card table, but I have been worried a few times when I've had a full cup of tea and my 5-year-old leaned on the table.Also, while it looks great, the top finish has dust specs in it, so the feel is a bit rough to the touch. The finish seems thin, so we're using placemats, which we've never done before.All in all, great table for a cheap price if it will be used modestly. Probably not a great fit for a busy family that will put a lot of wear and tear on it. I don't think it would stand up to rough use.

Once assembled, this was a small table. My brother and husband looked gigantic and theyre not really that tall at 5'8". If this was just for me, I'm 5'1" and my kids, it would have been perfect but since this was meant for family meals, I had to return it because the proportions look way off.

This table is the best. I’d been table & French writing desk hunting for weeks & had it narrowed down to 2 choices at $2100 & 1000 , respectively on Wayfair & EBay & Amazon. Then this popped up at the last minute. This was so inexpensive, I thought “ no great loss. If I don’t like it , it goes to the laundry room “. Well , it’s beautiful & incredibly sturdy & looks remarkable.” I’ve received many , many compliments &” wows” & even gasps. This table is the best . I used to do interior design in Manhattan for 20+ years , I would have used this table frequently & my mark-up would have doubled the price. I suggest buying it for your dining room , library, office, living room ; but , buy it before the price increases. It’s just that good.

Table is large enough for 4-6 ish people, easy to ensamble. Not happy with the shipping and packaging, the table has obvious cosmetic damage but is so difficult to commit on shipping the table back to them that l just kept it. I will not buy again

The table came up in a flat box, with a couple of deep dents in the cardboard box; but, it was packed with plenty of internal padding (with cardboard and styrofoam spacers), so the table itself was completely undamaged. r took 15-20 minutes to unbox and assemble with the included Allen wrench and 8 bolts -- 2 to hold each leg. No problems during assembly.The table is a bit plain and a bit dark -- but it's exactly as shown in the pictures. Once assembled, it's quite solid, but still quite light for its size.Not sure how the finish with stand up to time, but my initial impression is positive.2022-09-28: two years later, still happy with this table.

I wanted a large writing desk for my office/reading room. This dining room table was the perfect size and design. It took minutes to assemble, is light enough to assemble and lift without help, yet incredibly sturdy. If it were used as a dining table, it could seat 6 comfortably.Classic design. Great quality. Beautiful piece. I'm a happy customer!

The table came in a box that contained Styrofoam packing with plastic around each piece to keep it from fraying. The legs were in a separate box inside the main box. There were good instructions and extra nuts and bolts, plus a regular Allen wrench and a ratcheting one. The top of the table is especially pretty. We couldn't be happier, especially for the price.

Perfect size and color for wood floor home. When it first arrived, I'm very pleased with shipment service and the quality of the product. Well packed and nothing was damaged. Package has arrived on the exact date they sell. It was so easy to make this table because the instruction is fully explained that customers can make straight. Took me less than 10 min to make this. I was planned to use this table as a dining, but with the size and stableness, I decided to use as my office desk because it also looks so classic. But, this table is also amazingly suitable for the luxurious dining table. I made the simulation to use this table as dining, and six people could easily fit into this table. Numerous main dishes and dessert dishes could fit too. I especially like the color and the luxurious design. Highly recommend!

I needed a smaller size table for my kitchen and this fits perfectly. I love the detailed look of the table legs and the wood grain on the table surface. All in all this table exceeded my expectations for the price and quality. I highly recommend this product. However, one reviewer did state packaging wasn't the greatest and I did encounter the same issue. The courier told me to inspect the box because it was in multiple hands and got tossed around. The box was ripped opened in several places on the side that is from the bottom of the table which had the least styrofoam protection. I had some dents but nothing that is visible from the top of the table which I could live with.
