I dreaded putting this together as we've always had such trouble in the past with putting large things together... confusing instructions, missing pieces, cheap wood that splinters, dowels don't fit in the holes, and the damn holes either don't align or just aren't there!We went into this with dread and expecting it to take all weekend. We were very happily proven wrong! Hubby and I did it in just over 2.5 hours. Yes, it was alot of steps and you do need to pay attention to detail (its a large, electronic desk with draws... what do you expect?) but it went together slick as a whistle... it's solid, looks great and everything aligns perfectly.-The instructions are simple, great pictures, and VERY clear.-each piece was WELL marked it was obvious what was what.-quality material... solid pieces-everything lines up! All the holes, seams, corners, everything. This is a huge feat in itself and something many many "put-together- yourself" furniture products can't say.Anyway, I think you get the point.My suggestions:‐you'll need a drill with Phillips head screw bit to screw it together nice and tight-Be organized... lay things out in order-keep everything in the marked bags they come in until it's time to use them-take it one step at a time... be sure you do evening in order and complete each step fully-carefully look at the pictures to make sure things are oriented correctly-when there are words in the step... PAY ATTENTION to them. There aren't many so the ones there are important-enjoy the process and be thankful that there are still companies that seem to take pride in what they produce.

The desk is heavy and very sturdy, and needs a little space to put it together for the first time. A drill made everything go faster, and having an extra hand to flip the desk upright is something you will also want. The instructions were easy to follow, and the desk comes with ways to hide the wires. I do recommend having some extra cable ties , I used these cable ties on Amazon   I also used a desk cable management tray to hold the power strip that I plugged the desk control, monitors, etc. into   which made things move up and down with the desk easier, plus kept cords hidden. The way I have the laptop dock powered is the desktop mount surge protector   here on Amazon. This thing packs a punch for charging devices too!I really wanted a keyboard tray and mounted the BONTEC Keyboard Tray   to the desk. The angle was leaning a little to the back, so I added some foam underneath the top bracket to straighten it out.   I went with the YEBMoo Extra Large Gaming Mouse Pad   with a little Kelasy Nano Double Sided Tape Heavy Duty   to keep it in place. I also added the KTRIO Ergonomic Mouse Pad with Wrist Rest and Keyboard Wrist Rest   which made the setup the ultimate ergonomic experience.The desk moves up and down smoothly and quietly and allows me to move around. I love the back shelf allowing me to have my screens and speaker monitors on without sacrificing space to work. The drawers give me great storage and the middle cubie gives me the perfect spot for my laptop dock. Best desk I have purchased!
