Chose the simple packaging option and since Im always curious what that means for different products-they were just taped into a plastic covering on the usual cardboard backing. Certainly suitable for gifting. The kids and their friends love them.

It may be a Jolt reskin... but I still love it!
My favorite Nerf gun is still the Hammershot and when I saw this, I thought it was going to be a one shot mini hammer action gun. I was a little peeved when I found out it was a jolt reskin but... I still bought one when they started selling them. It's a lot easier to aim with than the jolt so on that front they improved it and I'm really digging the Hammershot aesthetic. Only reason I'm giving it a 4/5 instead of a 5/5 is that I can't pull back the hammer.

Fun for the family
Hard for the 3 year olds to use but the 5 and ups loved them. Would recommend eye protection.
