Product is underrated, I freaking love it
This thing is great because if you have a buddy or family members that might have that 2.5 inch hitch it's perfect because any can swap it onto another one of the trucks that you or a friend has or use it on the 2-in receptacle with this drop hitch feature. Definitely recommend it now I will say your number it's a 6 inch drop so with that j-hook it can add an extra two inches so depending if you give a damn and you put it on the lowest setting some Vehicles you might end up hitting the curb if you back up to it in a parking spot if you're putting it on a vehicle that doesn't have a major lift. I could have got away with like a 4-inch drop but this thing was definitely rated to where I needed it and it's actually a had a lot stronger than the hitch on my truck, which is hilarious cuz of the 3500 Chevy Duramax but I think it's well worth it the high rating is a great hitch and great overall design. And if you have a problem with the fact that you have to use wrenches for the bolts you can just literally hear on Amazon type in 2 pack key alike tow hitch locks, and you'll get a whole bunch of options the one that I saw that was like around 60 bucks that does 2-in and 2.5 in receptacle works perfect for this one. Because the opening my new is almost somewhere between 2:00 and 2.5 when it comes to the bolts piece but I recommend making sure that up to 2.5 so that we can still use this in a larger hitch capacity on a vehicle. The great product and definitely have put it to the test and it has withstand like I said it would

First hitch, should fit anything
Disclaimer this is my first trailer hitch.Bought this so that I could tow pretty much anything and also pull with the hook.Nice and heavy, obviously made with steel so should be tough and live up to the 18,000 lbs towing capability.Adjustable to varying heights, makes it awesome to tow various height units.Fits 2“ and 2.5" receivers, although you lose the height adjustment when going 2.5".Now the tools that come with it are okay, probably would have been better to have closed end larger size to tighten the bolts. The open end wasn't forged correctly can see a slight bend in it and will slip on the bolt/nut. They do work but would be best to use a heavy socket and wrench set if sticking with the bolts provided.Seen in other reviews of people using both bolts to attach the ball set to the adjustable receiver... The pictures show only using 1 bolt/nut and then the quick repeat bolt. The 2nd bolt would go on your vehicle receiver to attach the hitch set. Also I did see someone suggesting using both bolts but going in opposite directions, didn't try that myself but looks like that could work. However, what I would suggest and maybe they could incorporate this in the design, as I have seen on other brands, is sub in locking pins for the bolts, just 2 unless really paranoid then 3. So I locking pin on your receiver, one on the ball hitch, then using their quick release pin as listed in their pics as the second bolt for the ball side. This would make your hitch much more secure from theft and make it much faster for quick change to a new height.Last thing is the noise suppressing squares... No instructions and didn't see anything to really suggest where they go. Looked kinda pointless on the receiver side at least on my Ram 1500. Does fit into the ball hitch portion and if using straight 2.5" setup might be useful. Otherwise on 2" setup as I said fits the ball hitch so figured it would go there and does fit the slot on the adjustable receiver side nice and snug, but only works well if you are bolting into the center holes on the top or bottom side of the adjustable receiver. When attempting to use the top or bottom set of the 2 areas (upper or lower) the rubber is to thick and you can't get bolt and pin all the way thru. I almost got it but having to exert that much applying pressure and nearly busting knuckles... Either I'm attempting to use the noise suppressor incorrectly or someone didn't test and measure the rubber square rings properly. Quick fix would be to cut down 2 sides on the square foot the top and bottom lips so that it should fit in easier, shave off maybe 1/8“ at a time until it is nice and snug. Mfg could make the squares that way as well where 2 sides are a bit thinner than the other 2. Otherwise they would need to redisign the receiver to have a bit of a flange on the top and bottom like they have on side so the square fits in, then in the middle cut it back the width of the rubber squares maybe a bit flattened out to act as a ridge for the rubber to sit on.So for me atm, just put the ball on the middle bolt holes for now. 4 rubber squares so will modify one of them and are how it goes.Otherwise this hitch should be great, so recommend getting 2 locking pins to replace their bolts to make it quick and easy to change configuration and to secure your hitch. That change would make this product even better.

Decent product for the price.
It’s a little loose giving the trailer a little play but nothing crazy just a little noisey over bumps and such. I’d recommend it for occasional use maybe not commercial. Overall happy with the versatility and quality.

Sloppy fit. Noisy as a hitch can possibly be.
Sounds like I’m dragging a metal trash can behind my SUV as I roll down the road.hopefully, I can recover some of my money selling this thing on marketplace.Looks nice.Doesn’t seem well made.Hitch receiver is hollow, which is odd. All of my other receivers are solid. (Makes me wonder what kind of real strength this thing will have pulling a heavy load on a hard brake)

Not taking the risk
I had a lot of hope for this. Reviews look good so I ordered one. I was not going to take a chance on the shoddy welding since this was for my son’s RV. The idea is good but not as good as the one I have on my truck which is not sold anymore. The rubber spacers do not have the screw that my other one has to hold it firm. I ended up at harbor freight and paid more because I needed it right away. I send them an e-mail and would have taken the ball shaft and returned the one I have but they did not reply. So I returned this. I do not like to leave bad reviews but when I get something I feel is not safe I will leave a review.
