Prime-Line H 3837 2-3/16 In. White Plastic Window Channel Balance Sash Cams (2 Pack)

The top screw slot for my old sash cam was vertically aligned and lower down than the horizontally aligned screw slot present in this cam. However it was simple enough to just drill out a horizontal slot in the new cam and so far it has worked great.

These were perfect except, per my photo with old and new side by side, old original on right , these new ones on left -the fixing hole is wrong/different. The fixing hole is not shown at all on the picture that Amazon show. On the old oiriginal pictured they fix to my window by a vertical slotted hole , on the new this slot is missing and you have a horizontal slot at the very top :( Not sure whether I could still use them as is, does the fixing height make a difference, or should I try to drill the new to match the old?

Does the job for my window sash as a replacement, though I did have to modify its mounting slot slightly with a Dremel rotary tool as it is located a tad higher than it should be, thus preventing the mounting screw from seating completely perpendicular to this nylon plastic piece

Simple enough the drill out the old cams and install these. Was able to save about seven different sashes throughout the house. Nice to be able to raise and lower the windows again.
