Vero nice compounds!
The DSMART Metal Polishing Compound Set of six came quickly & well packed. The info brochure is confusing as it does not differentiate the coarse from the finest. It would be nice if the coarsest to finest compounds were listed for us less intelligent folks that are using them for the first time. The weight of each varies from 3.6 ounces to 4.1 (see my photos). My first experiment with the compounds, I buffed a pair of sunglasses starting with Black and moving to White. IT WORKED WELL! Over all the compound itself is very good quality and a good amount for the price and I recommend the product even though I am still learning how to use them!

These worked very well.
This is my first complete set of buffing compounds and I am very pleased with them. The description of whated each was used for was a bit confusing but after watching a few videos I was off to the races. I was able to polish an old knife to a mirror shine which was the best outcome I could hope for.

First Time User and SOLD!
No longer skeptical. Found a butcher knife that my grandfather made over 100 years ago which was totally deep pitted up with rush. Started sanding/restoring with lots of 60 grit, then 80, then 120 grit until all pits were removed, but blade was dull looking. Then moved up to the 400 & 600 grit sand paper and while is looked better it was still dull (Pic Attached). Bought these bars and also a buffer wheel the fits on a drill (my drill turns 2800rpms). Applied used the black bar first to get the micro scratched out and the blade was already shinny when i cleaned it off. Then applied the finishing green bar and was shocked at how glossy it was... almost like a mirror. Attached picture of the first pass with these bars... Absolutely amazing! 100% recommend these bars!

Polishing compound
Great product. Be careful you can easily burn what you are polishing. Tom
