Classic blues: Playalong for tenor saxophone (Guest spot)

Well presented and produced glossy publication, with excellent backing track. As a beginner it is easy to follow and play. It includes a CD that can be transferred to a computer, though we had to go via our laptop with USB as CD players do not come with latest iMacs. CD's are good storage and can be played on a living room CD. Fingering chart included and the publication is clean, easy to read and well printed. Purchased mainly for Harlem Noctrine. We have the CD playing even what not practising to familiarise ourselves with the tracks.

The tracks are good however his did not come with a CD included as advertised! The backing tracks are audio download, which is not what I expected or wanted.

Good backing arrangements, plus strings on some. Easy to playalong with to relax and just enjoy, also encouraging and suitable for beginners.I always find the Paul Honey series excellent value!

Music Sales knows its market. The chosen songs are those which I've always wanted to play (in particular Harlem Nocturne). The backing tracks are great. The arranger, Paul Honey, knows how to pitch the songs to a grade two/three type standard - the keys chosen make the songs accessible.

Great book. Just what I wanted? I am really enjoying playing something different and this is the sort of music I've been wanting to play

No CD in the book. Disappointed.
