So happy with these! I frog kick mostly, and these were perfect for my last dive trip! Great product for the price!

Size XL is not size 13-14. I would venture more towards size 12. I am size 14 and my big toe sticks out over an inch. This wouldn't be a problem, but the foot pocket is molded to taper at the end of the foot. Since my sasquatch feet are too big for everything I buy, I am used to having to massage things to fit. So, with that said, where the foot pocket tapers, this pushes all my toes together. My big toe, instead of facing 12 o'clock is now sitting at 1 o'clock or more which would guarantee blisters. Since I can't find ANY other set to fit me that isn't an open-back, sock required, $150+ set, I decided to take the Exacto knife out.Just to be clear, this will obviously ruin any warranty (whatever it might be). I cut the taper off the big toe side of the fin, as well as the lip at the bottom where that toe would reside. It gave me another 1/4" of space for my feet to sit naturally. They are still squashed together, but nowhere near as bad.Aside from sizing, these looks to be well made. I have not actually used them yet, their maiden voyage will be in the Caribbean this upcoming March break. Crossing my fingers these work as I hope, since rentals/excursion day trips never have anything sized over 12.

Not sure why they made these for such a wide foot. They seem ok for the most part, but even a wide foot will need booties. I'm a size 11 W normally and I got size Large on these, and I have them cranked down as tight as they will go, and my feet are floating in these things. Just FYI

First off, awesome quality fins. I will be using them to snorkel in the Delaware river. The one issue I have is the size I bought because the foot pocket is oversize, by quite a bit and pretty wide too. I wear a 10.5 medium width shoe so I bought the large size. Even with 3mm low dive bootie I basically have the heel strap fully cinched down as tight as they can go. I didn't feel like returning them as I want to use them soon and they will work for me as is. So if you might be better off going with a medium if you have a foot smaller than a 11. If you have a size 9 foot which the size chart says large will work, it will not. Your foot will be flopping around in them. My guess is that they will work great with thicker diving boots or water shoes, but not great with thinner booties.That being said, it would be nice if ScubaPro would have a size chart that would show how the real fit is with thick and thin footwear.

Maybe go bigger and use scuba thin boot

I am very happy with these fins. They fit just slightly big in foot length, but that is not a major issue.The fins themselves are a bit longer than what I expected but overall snorkeling and diving with them was a treat. I used very low effort and moved along at a fast pace. You should get some 3mm thick boots for these even if your just snorkeling. The straps are solid and stay put yet are easy to adjust if needed. I don't know what else to say except that this is a good pair of fins.

Flossen passen trocken perfekt. Im Wasser drücken sie und haben an meinen Füßen tiefe Wunden verursacht

Die Flosse ist an sich nicht schlecht nur das Fußteil ist vom Gummi her etwas steif. Es könnte ein weicheres Gummi sein.
