Great concept.
Fantastic concept, but a bit let down by the very tiny delicate latch that locks the adapter in place that's pretty impossible to open with fingers.Perfect travel adapter around Europe though if you get an EU extension cord for it.

MAJOR ELECTRICAL SAFETY ISSUE on REWIRABLE UK model
[EDIT] The lovely people at Allocacoc have sent me three brand new rewirable powercubes, to replace the three faulty ones that I bought elsewhere than from Amazon, and I can confirm that the NEW model is wired CORRECTLY. As such, I have upped my star rating from 1 to 5. My other three items, which I returned to Amazon, have been refunded.IMPORTANT: the following applies to EARLY batches of the UK Rewirable. If you have this device, check it with a mains tester or PAT machine. NEW versions are wired correctly--- ORIGINAL REVIEW ---I actually LOVE the design of this device, and have bought a total of six "rewirable"s with UK sockets, 3 the USB model and 3 the mains-only version. I've had one in daily use on my desk for 6 months; the others are stashed in assorted travel bags ready for overseas trips. So why the one-star review? I just bought a Martindale socket tester, and the first thing I tried it out on, was my desktop powercube. Only one LED came on, suggesting LIVE/NEUTRAL reversal! To check the brand new tester was not the problem, I tried it on other sockets in my house, and all three LEDs came on: the tester was working. So I dug out my PAT tester (yes, I actually have one!) and put the rewirable powercube in series between two IEC leads, both of which I first PAT tested to see they were OK. As soon as the powercube was in the circuit, LIVE/NEUTRAL reversal was confirmed by my PAT meter, and so the Powercube FAILED.I tried all the other rewirable powercubes in my house, and ALL of them show the same fault.I also tested a couple of the hard-wired mains plug PowerCubes I have: these are OK and PASS both the quick Martindale test, and my PAT tester. So this is a fault of the REWIRABLE model only, so far as I can tell. I bought these items in the later part of 2015 and early 2016, so they MAY have fixed the issue since. But if you have a rewirable, I STRONGLY suggest you get it PAT-tested as soon as possible.Brian

Perfect for seasonned travellers
Perfect for those that travel a lot with electrical devices such as laptops and hair straighteners as there are plugs for every region and 2 x usb ports so you will never find yourself caught out!

Handy mains distribution Cube.
Very clever arrangement of sockets. Space-saving. Just one safety note: Although it has five UK 13 Amp sockets, the cube is fed by an IEC connector which drops it's overall current rating to 10 Amps.
