Very quick to learn, doesn't take up your whole mouth like a lot of them I see and really good quality. Packaging was impressive too! Arrived a day earlier than expected, worth every penny!

Shepherd's whistles can be an absolute nightmare for beginners, and I was really struggling to correctly use my existing one. I decided to take a risk and get the Logan and it was the best decision I made that day without question!It is very easy to learn how to use, far more responsive than any other end I have tried, and can create versatile pitches and volume of sound. I wanted a whistle that wouldn't be overly shrill or loud, as I wanted to use it while wheelchair mushing with my dogs to give clearer directional cues - it has been absolutely perfect. Loud enough and crisp enough for the dogs, but without hurting your ears every time you use it (or getting angry letter from your neighbour when you first practice using it by yourself!)The choice of colours is a lovely touch, and not only allows outfit co-ordination, but is ideal for dog trainers & matching their brand colours.If you don't know what a Shepherd's Whistle is then I highly recommend researching them before you purchase, because it is an incredible training tool but only if you are using it as intended. This whistle isn't designed to upset your dog or to stop them doing something you don't like, it is designed as an alternative to verbal cues to allow working at a distance.It is similar to a gundog whistle in the intended use, but it is far more versatile and allows each handler to use whatever cues they please from whichever notes you can play (I'm not good enough to play songs on it quite yet, but it absolutely can be done!).If you're already in the market for a Shepherds Whistle then I highly recommend giving Logan a shot.

I love this whistle it’s like a work of art and is a joy to use, it only took me a few goes to get used to the technique. There are instructions and YouTube videos. At the moment I only use it to call my collie. The whistle has a unique clear tone which travels a long way. I hope to practice with more ‘tunes’ in the hope I will be able to to control my dog at distance.

This is a nice loud whistle ,you need practice to use this if you haven't used one before,YouTube videos are a great help in using these type of whistles for the first time .good for training the dog .

This takes a bit of practice to get a noise out of it at all. I think that to make different sounds, to direct a dog, for instance, it would take some really concentrated work. However, I can get a whistle out of it and my dog comes to me instantly. I don't know what it is about the sound of this but there is something that almost compels the dog to pay attention. I can't say it's easy to use exactly, the instructions were not as much help as a video on YouTube, but it was easy to get the desired result! Not cheap, but as it works it probably is reasonable value. Flavour? There's no nasty metallic taste from using it, if that's what that means.

Works great easy to figure out for beginners.

I love this tool. It produces a clear and distinct tweet long whistle short whistle etc. It's easy to use hanging around your neck and go. Even if you're a simple dog owner this thing is going to be easier to use over long distances then your regular whistle and you don't have to worry about dry lips just drool clogging the hole. I plan on using it for herding but I'd use it for a small pet too.

I received my Logan whistle today the packaging was so cute. love the colour & shape of it I picked pink for colour I was stuck between choosing pink or silver I’m glad I chose pink so pretty I put it on a neclace chain I already had and they go nicely together Spent the whole day blowing just air lol untill I was looking in the mirror trying and suddenly I made my first wistles with it now to catch onto the tones so I can use with my Australian shepherd great product love it so far 💕

Great whistle. Loud, clear tone. My dog responds well to it. Wasn’t hard to learn after watching a YouTube video. I think it is pretty over priced and I probably would have been just as happy with a plastic one but I don’t regret buying it.

Sounds just like my old whistle that isn't in production any longer. You can make soft quiet whistles or loud enough ones for the dog to hear at six hundred yards. I like the quality and the shape for my mouth.
