IREDOON Dog Nail Grinder

This is an awesome lightweight but hard-working grinder. It’s rechargeable, has variable speeds and is easy to use, as well as quiet. We’ve used it not only for our dog but for our guineas pigs and parrot. It’s easy and seems less traumatic than a hard clipper. We’ve been able to trim and smooth all of their nails with minimal struggle.

This pet nail grinder gets the job done. It’s easy to hold, lightweight. It has 3 speeds. The different grinding heads and covers give options depending on the size of your pet’s nails, which is a nice touch. Performance-wise, it does exactly what it should—smooths down sharp edges safely without the risk of clipping too short. It’s not completely silent, but the noise is fairly low compared to other grinders I’ve tried, and my dog tolerated it much better than expected. It may take a little longer than traditional clippers, but the tradeoff is peace of mind and smoother results. For routine grooming, this is a reliable tool that does what it promises.

I was really surprised at how quiet this is. The lights are a big plus so I can see what I'm doing with the nail and the shield captures the dust very well. It doesn't get hot and its light enough where it doesn't weigh down my hands and can hold it at different angles with no problem. Nice quality and works great. Price was less than what I paid for clippers. I'm in the process of getting our pup used to these and it's already so much better than standard clippers.

This nail grinder is very quiet and lightweight and easy to handle. It has a nice catcher for the nail dust, and does a good job of grinding. The light is a nice bonus so you can see the quick of the nail easily. My only objection is that the black cap that has a slot on it as a nail guide unscrews when it is being used, which is frustrating. I contacted the company and they responded quickly and graciously offered a full refund. So, customer service is great. If you don't mind not using the black cap, it works well just like a lot of other nail grinders, and still is a quiet grinder with a nice light and dust catcher. My dog has been very nervous about clipping her nails; I have tried several types of cutters and have had to struggle with her to let me cut them. With this grinder, she quickly calmed down and by the 2nd time using it, she let me hold her feet with no problem.

After using the IREDOON Dog Nail Grinder, I entirely changed my opinion about converting from standard clippers to a nail grinder. I was a bit apprehensive about the decision. My cat is often terrified of grooming products, but this grinder is surprisingly quiet and has a low vibration level. She did not react when I switched it on for the first time even though she usually is terrified of clippers Particularly useful when working on nails of varying sizes or rotating between animals, the three-speed settings allow you to precisely manage the amount of grinding force that you require. The built-in four LED lights are another feature that I really appreciate since they make it easier for me to see precisely what I'm doing, which in turn decreases the likelihood that I may overgrind and do harm to my pet. A USB charging connection was included with the grinder, making it extremely simple to recharge. The grinder has a sturdy and well-made feel about it. To this point, the battery life appears to be quite good; I have used it a few times without having to replenish the battery. Regardless of the size of your pet, this tool makes nail upkeep a breeze and eliminates any discomfort that may be associated with it. Pet owners who are looking for a more secure and relaxing experience while grooming their pets at home should strongly consider this product.

We have 3 size dogs, a great dane, a rhodesian ridge back and a yorkie. So big med. And small. For the yorkie this works great in place of using cutters. The ridgeback, its good for touch ups but not a full trim. The great dane is next to useless all around. I charged it to 100% upon opening. Began using it, and boy does this create a lot of dust. I recommend doing this outside or wear a dust mask because it is messy even with the catch installed. The motor is weak, it easily stops or drastically slows down when doing bigger dogs even on the highest setting. Which for us its fine because the pri.ary reason.we got it was for the yorkie since he hates his nails trimmed. Overall not a terrible product for the price. I can't say that id purchase it again.

This nail grinder worked extremely well on my dog’s nails, giving a smooth grind with no cracking or discomfort at all. My dog stayed calm during use, thanks to the quiet motor and low vibration just like it’s advertised. I’ve been using it ever since I bought it and it still works perfectly with no issues. The build quality feels solid, the battery life lasts a long time, and the included accessories are very useful. Definitely a product I would recommend.

I ordered this several months ago. Finally had a chance to sit down with my dogs to take my time with them. My Golden, Rhett hates any mail grooming, especially a grinder. After a couple of nights just using praise and treats, his front nails are starting to look nice. Now, we need to start on the back feet! Kylee, my blind Golden, age 13 yrs will let me do most anything, but she hasn't been a fan of the grinders. This device was great! I trimmed her nails first because they were really long, then, we made them beautiful!! It’s very quiet with 3 speeds. I would definitely buy this again.

I've got a little French Bulldog that has become increasingly clipper shy as he's got older, so I thought I'd give this a go, and it works! It did not disappoint, the 4 LED lights do a great job of highlighting exactly where the quick is which means I can quickly and effectively cut his claws to the right length. It’s very simple to use and has a cap that can be put over the grinding edge to shape access to the grinder depending on the size of your pets’ claws. To be honest I didn’t use that adjustment and simply used the grinder with the dust cap fitted to capture the ground off dust. BEWARE of other nail grinders that are clipper / grinder combinations there is absolutely no need for clippers with this powerful and quiet device. It quickly and safely grinds each nail down in seconds which minimises any distress. I also like the option to change the grinding speeds and the battery % status so you know exactly when you will need to recharge (not for a while yet!) And the cherry on the cake I know I’ll be using this for a long while as I opted to sign up for the LIFETIME GUARENTEE, which is testament to the quality of the product and how sure IREDOON are of this products long term reliability.

Lo uso da circa 1 mese ed i problemi con le unghie della mia shibina sono svaniti. Non fa rumore ed è molto funzionale. E lei che ha paura di tutto ha da subito avuto con la lima un ottimo rapporto. Consigliatissimo.

First off, we have 8 Bernese Mountain Dog crosses. 6 - 3 month old pups, mom dog and dad dog. Tonight was nail night. This nail file replaced the Whal pet nail file and about 12 different nail clippers. This file is quiet, strong, sharp and did not hurt to hold through the 126 nails that were filed tonight! We started out at 89 percent as I got this for Christmas, fully charged it and only used it for testing, desensitization and a few nails here and there, till tonight. After all those nails we still have 62% battery!!! *Momma dog is still not convinced she is safe when we even just touch her feet but were able to get two nails on her!* I was able to hold and maneuver around the nails with ease. Additionally I had injured my nerve in my thumb last week and can't use a pair of scissors currently without pain but had no issues with this file! The lights on this unit are amazing for seeing not only the nail but seeing into it for assurance on distance to the quick as well.

Compared to other electrical nail grinders we've tested this is by far the most effective one. Have not even dared to use 3rd speed yet... Strong, good battery performance and overall easy to use. Have The led-light is a plus but not a must. Highly recommended.
