Nice packaging, nice sturdy collapsible rod and reels. Takes up very little space for travel

I bought these for traveling. I tested them out before hand. I was unsure what to think at first. A few cast and I thought these were descent for what they are. Then I caught a catfish that was almost 6lbs. This was with the line that came with it. The rod and line held up great as it fought me bringing it in.The only issue I had at a later time was the top piece got stuck and ended up breaking trying get it to collapse back in.

The media could not be loaded.  I just bought it and used it for the first time ....... It's as crisp as a biscuit. My mood is so bad now!I bought it just to create happiness, and the result was frustrating.Its quality is really poor! It's a waste of my money.

My son was very happy with the kit and couldn't wait to use it.

The poles were fragile, and one broke without the first week. There were a lot of lures, but the carrying case was pretty cheap.

These fishing rods and tackle are great. I love the fact that they are retractable making them easy to store anywhere. Although I wish the bag was a little bit bigger because as soon as you attach the real to the rod, they don’t fit in the bag. I didn’t notice pretty soon that the reel was going to need to be greased, because it started to hesitate while reeling in. As for the rod itself, it is very sturdy, and I never worry about it, snapping or bending, that goes for the eyes as well. The tackle a cane with his great for the basics. But you’ll definitely have to get your own set of tackle. In the future, I would definitely upgrade the reel, but I would 100% keep the rod and attach a new reel to it.In all, I would highly recommend this starter kit if you are looking to get into the hobby or fishing or if you’re just trying to get supplies and hardware to fish every once in a while.

This is a good product if you are fishing small fish. I caught a small snag and my rod snapped in half. I caught a few 2-3 lb fish but don’t think it would have been good for bigger ones.

Absolutely. Terrible product. Both reels bound every time, so much line was wasted.

The value for money of everything you get in the bag is great. But only after 2-3 weeks everything seems to be going in the trash can.The reels are not great and they do not feel smooth when trying to land a big fish.The line that comes on the reels is really, really bad. When I received the package everything seemed decent, as I tested the line myself. But after I used it in the water a couple of times it became really bad. One day I was lucky to have 5 bites from some big fish (3-4kg). Initially, I though they were some massive monsters, but after testing the line again I noticed it was easily breaking. My advice is to immediately replace the line on the reels.The rods seem quite sturdy, but the last ring on one of them just comes off now.The replacement line in the bag deserves to be thrown in the bin straight away.One of the bag's zippers broke already, on one of the pockets. However, the bag is useful as you can fit a lot of other compact stuff in there (holders, landing net, etc.).The lures are decent quality and they're worth a try.This is a good package for someone that is just starting out with fishing, or has not fished with reels before. Really good value for money to test stuff out and get familiar with this kind of fishing. Not a great loss if you break things with this set.
