Splash About Kids' Go Splash Swim Vest

Bought this for my 19 month old son when we went to centre Parcs. He is big for his age so got the 2-4 size which was slightly big, but worked fine and the smaller size would have been two small

This is a great little vest (if you aren't teaching your child to swim). If teaching them I would advise the ones that have the removable floats in as you can remove them as they become more able and I have found this fantastic when teaching my boys (4 of them!).I bought this for my 14 month old for when we were on holiday and for that, it was perfect. Lightweight, comfortable and I felt comfortable with him sitting in the sea with me. He hates it when I hold his hand or put on his reins, with this I was able to walk behind him with my index fingers 'hooked' under his shoulder straps and because of the padding he didn't even notice it! He was in his element and I felt in control and also reassured.Great buy and a happy mummy and baby

I purchased this for my 3 year old son for going on holiday. He has no fear when it comes to water, he’s very confident in the water & can swim a little bit on his own, so thought I would get the vest so if he jumped into the water without me being in the pool he would have a bit of safety.Well we get on holiday first day down at the pool, my son, partner & I are all in the kids pool up to sons waist (half way up my shin), my son was running between myself & my partner who is no further than 3 feet away from me when my son slips & falls under the water & instead of the vest helping it actually stopped my son from being able to get himself back up straight & put him face first into the water. My son then spent the rest of the holiday absolutely terrified of the water to the point he was shaking with fear if we even walked to close by the pool.I would not recommend this product to anyone. Worst thing on the market, stick with the arm bands & rubber rings (I wish I did).

This seemed like a good idea. Put it on DD to swim in the pool. She was 15mths old at the time. In a split second while playing the child turned over onto her face in the water. Although the jacket worked and kept her afloat, her face was in the water briefly as I pulled her out. I don’t trust the balance of this jacket, it’s bulky and small children can’t turn themselves over in the water with this jacket on. I think it’s too risky to use.

Doesn't float at all. It may be appropriate for an older child (3-4 years old) learning to swim but I got one for my nearly 2 years old and it is useless as unless I hold her she just goes face down in the water.

I was aprehensive about buying this product for my 2 year old daughter after reading the reviews, however it has really been great purchase.My daugther loves it and it has really improved her confidence and her desire to kick in the water, we have gone from her wanting to get out the pool immediately to us begging her to get out the pool as so much time has passed. I would really recommend this product.

Waste of money for ages under 3. I bought for my son 1 and it either makes him fall forward or back. Good for my son who is 4.

It’s not heavy but not as lightweight as I thought it’d be. However, my son absolutely loves it and when I tried it on him at home before even going to the beach, he refused to let me take it off him!! 🤣🤪 I can’t fully comment on weather it keeps him afloat because I was too scared to completely let go of him but I do think it supported him 😁
