It works at described and definitely needed for any hot tub. The only thing I didn’t like was the pourspout. Other companies have a squeeze bottle, which makes it easy to add to the water. This has a regular pourspout bottle, which makes it harder to pour it.

Anytime we have several friends over and everyone wants to use the hot tub most of day it always starts foaming tho even as little as a teaspoon. Added in when jets are running within seconds the foaming is gone its amazing

I've used several defoamers over the years with hot tubs, this one works within 20 minutes of putting it in the hot tub, but it isn't long lasting, it works for about 2 days then you have to add more. If you are looking for a quick/immediate fix this works, but I'd recommend another brand if you want long term results. Purchased another brand about a week after this one, used it and it's lasted/resolved our problem (someone had gotten into our hot tub with something washed that still had 'soap residue' left in it). Didn't fix a soap residue issue for us, might work for other foaming issues.

Product definately works. Now able to enjoy the hot tub without having so many bubble form

I mean, if you're trying to get rid of excess foam it works. BUT - The product has a strange slimy consistency and tends to glop up in the water. Foam disappears, but leaves a residue in the water. What the heck is this stuff??
