I hate mornings and I love sleep- so does everyone else. I bought this just as a replacement for my old alarm clock where the light stopped working. When it arrived, I was very pleased that the time can clearly be seen from across the room- no more squinting at tiny screens. I then noticed the rubber casing and it made me think it was probably best, because I often drop the alarm clock on the floor in my haste to make it shut up when it wakes me in the mornings. The casing protects it from my wrath!The light also works well- it's bright, but not blinding. It's easy to find the buttons on top and has a satisfying click, so you know it's working. To reset the clock or time is easy and it tells you if it's am or pm. Very helpful.I love this one so much, that I bought another one.

Just received alarm clock today. Pretty easy to set up, you have to hold onto the TIME SET button on the back of the clock while simultaneously adjusting the hours n minutes, same with setting the alarm.Alarm beeps slowly at first, after every 10seconds it increases its beeps.Therenly AM and PM and no 24hr option.Settings alarm automatically comes with snooze.There is no backing light, only comes on when you hit the top light button.No date and temperature.This was just what I was looking for, a simple alarm clock. So I don't have to always rely on my phone. Plus the RED backing light red light aids melatonin production which helps produce hormone that naturally makes you feel drowsier.The only reason why I haven't given it 5stars because I think the red back lighting when checking the time at night can be a bit too bright for my liking. Other than that I'm happy with the overall alarm clock.

I bought this clock because my old one needed to be replaced and I just liked the look of it. I can't think of any faults with it but here are the things I like:- Big, easy to read display; even with bleary eyes.- Simple to use. Like most blokes I tend not to read instructions and I didn't need to with this; it's simple and intuitive.- Silicone cover protects it very well. It has been dropped on the floor a couple of times but hasn't suffered any damage.- Good battery life; 9 months so far on the original battery- Groovy colours and nice retro lookIt's a good, reliable alarm clock in my opinion; infact I like it so much I've just bought another for my son. If it can get him out of bed on time on school days I'll really be impressed.

The clock which I bought is not fit for purpose...impossible to set the alarm or time because when you usethe buttons the display disappears so you don't know what is happening and tilting the clock to make thedisplay clearer doesn't work either. It took me quite a while even to get near to the time I wanted to set.The alarm bleep is barely audible and easily ignored. I would send it back but I just can't be bothered soI am buying a new one probably by Casio.Of course I may have just been unlucky in getting a duff one but I don't really believe this.

It's rare to find anything quite this cheap and nasty at a £10+ price tag these days. This looks and feels like something you'd win at a fair ground.The soft silicon surround is loose and overhangs the screen and the plastic the main body is constructed from is very, very low quality.

The numbers are large and clear - except if you look at it face on. Then they fade, but remember to set the clock at a slight angle and you won't have a problem. It's silent too, which is a boon for us as my partner cannot stand the slightest sound at night, even from a clock. Easy to set up and use, perfect for us.

I bought 3 of these, I have 1 out daughter has 1 & 1 for the caravan, and even with a power cut they still work

The buttons are poorly responsive so it's difficult to set an alarm. the buttons themselves are really tough to press and as you have to press hard it leaves a temporary imprint on the LCD. The background light stays on for 2 seconds or less , so in reality if the lighting in your room is poor, you may not be able to see the time, or you'll have to keep pressing the buttons to light it up.In reality this is a poorly made, poorly designed product.
