The media could not be loaded.  I gave this 4/5 only because it needs to have the coupling at the device not be a threaded i terrace rather a coupling with bearings.It took our GSD 10 minutes to figure out and now he whines to go out an play with it. He will spend hours pawing at it and catching the spurts of water in his mouth. He drags it around the yard, flips it around, and abuses the crud out of it. The spring is somewhere but he love the thing.Because the connection with the device is threaded he can unscrew the hose from the pressure plate. Then water sprays all over the place. Which he thinks is really fun!!Great device …. Needs a couple refinements bits worth the buy. (We have bought a second one because it’s hours of entertainment).

So far my kids like this more than my dog. Great pressure and easily setup.Only problem is that the adjuster knob is hidden behind metal and I can't get to it, even though it looks like it is supposed to be used with a flat blade screw driver.If they only opened up easy access to the adjuster I would have given it 5 stars.I ended up creating my own hole with a Dremel, cleaned up the edges with a metal file and painted the exposed metal again.

The entire device is made of metal including brass fixtures for the plumbing. the hose that connects from the water fountain pedal to the Y port, for the hose is identical to the type of material that I have for the plumbing under my kitchen sink. It comes with a Y port adapter that I can fasten right to my outdoor spigot. This allows me to attach the water fountain and have water accessible all the time. I can also use the other half of the Y port for other utilitarian purposes, and even hook a hose up to it all while having its own on and off valve separate from the fountain.

This summer has been increasingly hot, so I got this for my dog to use while she’s with me outside. I’m very satisfied with it, and she seems to enjoy using it. It’s very simple to set up, and she learned how to use it quick. It doesn’t take much pressure to release the water, and it shoots out a decent amount for her to drink from. I highly suggest getting this, especially for the price.

This kept by lab puppy’s attention for about an hr each time. Like that it’s not a constant water flow without them pressing on it. Appreciate it being metal as she’s a super chewer.
