Love love love
There was an unfortunate accident with our previous tv, so we replaced it with this one. Before jumping into purchases of this size I do a lot “research.” I compared different models of the same size and picked the features that were the most important to me. Below is a list of the most important things I considered.Glare - this tv has a bigger glare issue because of the glossy screen. For us this wasn’t a big issue because of tv placement, window location and lighting.Refresh rate - honestly I don’t remember the refresh rate but I believe it has a higher refresh rate with an AI component to it. I do know it’s amazing quality and I have not noticed issues with this. Sports, shows, movies are all smooth.Smart features - we use our tv for YouTube tv, YouTube, Netflix and prime video. The remote makes using them sooo easy. You push the google button and it does anything and everything you say. It will adjust volume, open apps, and even look up local restaurants.Light bleeding - some TVs have an issue where the light bleeds into your blacks but that hasn’t been a big issue for us. Occasionally I’ll notice where white objects in a scene tend to bleed quite a bit but only seems to be in dark scenes.Picture quality - wells it a 4K tv with bright colors and black blacks. I couldn’t be happier.I decided to spend more on this tv than the one that met it’s demise sooner than anticipated. I’m truly glad I spent more because it’s night and day compared to the old vizio tv we had. The only thing I miss is that it had a silver edge and was very thin compared to this one but I’ve become accustomed to that change and don’t notice anymore. There are cheaper tvs and more expensive tvs but this one checked the most important boxes for me.

No regrets
T.V. has exceptional picture. I can see smile lines and pores in faces. It's good to know that Hollywood actors aren't made of porcelain after all. Colors are vivid. Lighting in screen is consistent across entire surface. Viewing is better without room lighting directly hitting screen, but I don't blame Sony for that. The only thing I don't like is how the smart chip blurs the background in facial close-ups. I've found it tolerable because those shots tend to be brief, and the detail is restored once the scene pans out just a little bit. My husband and I have found that we're choosing shows based on background a lot now. Winter in Ohio is less bleak with a 75 inch TV blasting out light and color. Our last TV was a Sony Bravia also. It's around 10 years old, 55 inch. Still has great picture but several of the hdmi ports failed. We have never invested a lot of money in television equipment. I could have bought a really nice TV for half the cost of this one, but if it would show flaws within 3 years, we are the type of people who would just live with it for 7 more years and go outside more. I really liked the pictures on the Samsung sets, but I didn't feel good about the amount of structural support you can get in those super thin TVs with massive screens. The remote is smarter than I am at this point. It's intuitive enough. We just haven't figured out how to go directly back to watching shows we like without navigating through the apps and all the other shows out there. I really enjoy this TV, and haven't experienced any buyer's remorse thus far....knock on wood!

You won't be sorry
Great Picture. Plenty bright in a well lit room (daytime) and theater- like in a dark space. No or very little motion blur (the 120Hz refresh makes a big difference). No blooming, no dead pixels. Color is vivid and life-like (perhaps too vivid in "vivid" mode) a little smoother in "cinema" mode. Sound is pretty good, could maybe use a sub woofer but it's pretty good on its own and it has that "center" technology so you feel you know where the sound comes from. The Google TV apps are pretty cool and straight forward. Streams like a dream, no problems at all. The remote is over-done but functions well, voice control is a plus especially searching for movies and such. Don't have a play station so don't know about that yet. It's a little more money than some at this level, but you'll have to go next-level OLED to get better (about 1400 more dollars).
