I made a huge mistake by putting too much in a bowl of water! I had enough pearls to do an elaborate wedding for a 1,000 people! (LOL) and here I was only doing two glass jars for centerpieces! Live and learn! Really, trust me, you don’t need very much for these to bloom into pearls. Probably a tablespoon would have been plenty, I used a quarter of a cup. I had pearls all over. It was fun, though! PLEASE DO NOT LET YOUR BABIES, TODDLERS, CHILDREN PLAY WITH THESE PEARLS!!! They are NOT toys! I was careful not to let my dog or cat find any!!!

Although my beads did not swell as big as other reviewers', they did enlarge and they worked for what I needed. I only used two teaspoons and I filled four, eight inch tall cylinder vases to make floating candle decor. They look yellow in the package but come out crystal clear when they enlarge. You cannot see them when you add water to the vases and they give the illusion of items being suspended in the water.

I got these as vase fillers. They look like water, but they act like marbles for arranging the flowers, and they act like water for keeping the flowers fresh. You need to add water if your house is really dry, but not very often. A tablespoon of these dry and a quart of water becomes a quart of clear water gel marbles.

This item exceeded what I expected. I utilized not quite half the bag and it provided a large abundance. Exactly what I need to fill large vases for centerpieces. The color is clear. Great value for the price. Easy to use.

Works as described

Purchased these for a decoration idea and I didn't need but maybe a cup full of the beads to do what I wanted.

Not bad for the price, 90,000 for $10. In my pictures, I used a teaspoon of orbs (not a overfilled teaspoon), got me about a quarter of the way of what I want but it probably takes a "overfilled" tablespoon to fill up my vase. Took about 6-8 hours to fully expand. Would recommend.
