Brilong Bluetooth Smart Lock - Quick and Easy Setup

Before people write me off as not being good with technology, I've been an IT professional for 15 years. Honestly, I was more concerned with the hardware installation than getting the software and smart features working.First, the hardware installation was fairly easy and this was my first time changing a lock. As long as you've got a power drill/driver you'll be fine. Not really possible with my door's existing holes and a screwdriver.The reason I got this lock was for the smart features with my phone. I'm running the newest version of Android on a Google Pixel device. Works great with everything. Upon reading reviews of the app on Google Play, I saw that it wasn't just my issue, this doesn't work for Android phones period. The auto-unlock is completely non-functional. For one, getting the Bluetooth to join to the lock to get it to lock/unlock is a giant pain every single time, and having it auto join pretty much never happens. The times it has happened, and I've attempted to use auto-unlock, it force closes the app. After having it a week, auto-unlock has worked one time. If you go read the app reviews, every single person has the same issue. I even became a beta tester for the app to get all the newest updates, it still is horrible.I'm going to do better research this next time and return this non-functional piece of equipment for hopefully something that works. Honestly, at this point this thing is only good as a standard deadbolt and I'm not spending all this money for a standard deadbolt.

Received an installed my new smart lock yesterday. It was a breeze to install and set up. I haven't had it long, but so far, I'm very impressed. The lock is very substantial, and the app is very intuitive.Just moved into a new house and it's going to be great for letting the builder in to finish a few things and me not having to be there. I sent my first temporary key code this morning to the builder, and it worked great.He was so impressed with the lock that he's looking at purchasing a few to place on houses under construction.He likes that he can let contractors in and know when they arrive and leave.I may end up getting another for the back door!

This lock is very easy to install and use! It took me less than 30 minutes from unpacking to finishing the installation. It comes with everything you need to get the smart lock up and running (it even includes extra screws in case you misplace some of them). This is the second "smart" lockset that I installed in my home. Compared with the other one that I had from a well-known brand (and cost a lot more), the LK310 performs nothing less but costs a lot less!The installation instruction is very clear and very easy to follow. The parts that need to be aligned or faced the right way are all clearly marked so you won't miss it. To install the LK310, first you align the keyhole with the latch, install the flat panel, connect the little electronic wire from the keyhole to the lock, screw the lock to the flat panel, and BINGO! You are done.After the lock is installed, put in new batteries, download the app, and connect the lock to your smartphone via Bluetooth. Again, setup is easy. Once everything is there (battery, app, etc.) the lock detected my phone immediately and I completed the setup in seconds.What I really like about the lock is easy installation and setup. The design is elegant...it complements any interior decor. The keyhole lights up when you approach and unlock the door. The Bluetooth works flawlessly. Hopefully, the wi-fi function will be enabled soon then this smart lock will be even smarter!The free app is also easy to use and setup. You create a room, add a lock, and then you can decide its locking/unloking behavior. You can also "assign" the virtual key to another user ~ no need to find the actual keys anymore! (Although the package does come with three actual, old schooled keys). What's really nice is that the app also keeps the log information - who enters, leaves, etc. I imagined this feature will be useful when you install the lock in the rental properties, AirBnB, etc.

The good.Looks goodBadInstalled and works backwards. I’ve taken this lock apart several times and can’t get it to work correctly. Now I just have a normal lock that cost over $150. If I set the auto lock it unlocks instead. I’ve called and left messages and got no return calls. Hopefully this review pushes them to call me back.1-13-19 updateGot a replacement, put together on my counter and it worked perfect. Installed on door and works great so far. Returning the bad one. Now love this product. NEVER got a call back Brilong. So making it 3 star instead of 1

Brilong Bluetooth Lock is very simple to install, fits perfectly my front door and deadbolt position. I've installed the mobile app and granted access to all my family members (my wife and my daughters) plus created an account for our cleaning lady and assigned a specific time for her to unlock the front door.The lock is well made, design is great and I really like a perfect finish inside and nice multicolored LEDs outside. Bluetooth connection is very fast which makes unlock process is easy and convenient. Another feature that I really like is ability to setup autolock after 30 seconds so when I leave the house I even don't need to lock the door.Bottom line, this Brilong lock works flawlessly, and it is great fun to use.

Simple installation, looks great, BUT...1- The auto unlock only works for the lock owner, unless you share ID & password (up to 3 users)2- Auto unlock takes forever to connect (see 2B)2B-The blue tooth doesn't connect unless you open the app 1st and stand in front of the door. Almost easier to you keys at that point.3-App froze up for all phones and had to delete and reinstallI did speak with support and they noted upgrades were coming. Will revisit 3 rating once upgrades have been made.

Very nice lock. Took me 15 minutes to replace my old keypad lock. The build quality is better then expected and comes with simple instructions page. I really wish I could connected it to my Amazon Echo plus or my Wink Hub. The app on iPhone 8 works fine, setup straight forward. Auto unlock feature is a nice touch, but I don’t use auto-lock feature, since the maximum idle time is 2 min.

Great product, works as intended.Warning: Check the hole size in the door, I had to enlarge the hole after removing my old lock.

Don't work ... if you have spare money to lose...

Terrible after service....do not buy!
