AquaSphere K180 Swim Goggles
I swim laps 2-3 days a week for about 45 minutes in an indoor lap pool. I had previously only worn speedo goggles sold at Costco that come three pair to a pack. They were okay at first but became uncomfortable as I wore them in and they started leaking. This took about 4 months. In order to keep swimming I knew I needed to invest in some good swim goggles. I did quite a bit of research online and read a lot of Amazon reviews. I heard a lot of good things about the aquasphere brand but wasn't sure what profile I wanted. I ordered two different profiles, one larger like the Kaiman/Kayenne and a smaller profile like the K180. I am very happy with both profiles. I actually ordered the K180 and the K180+ (which is exactly the same but a tad smaller for women). I have only worn the K-180 so far and I really like them. They are comfortable and fit close around the eye socket but not so close like the really tiny competative ones. The nose bridge comes in three different sizes and the medium nose bridge works for me and I have somewhat close set eyes. These glasses don't leak and they don't fog up. Some days I prefer the smaller profile of these glasses over the larger Kaiman/Kayenne and I hardly know I have them on. They adjust in the back with pull tabs which works fine and is very user friendly. I might mention that for people who have trouble with leaky glasses I have found that if you put dry glasses on a dry face and then don't move them around once you've made the seal, you are good to go. If you start messing with them you have problems. I took mine off mid-swim the other day but I dried my face with a towel and they sealed back fine. If you find a pair of swim goggles that you really like I highly recommend that you buy two pair as models change quickly. I also priced these at Sports Authority and Dicks Sporting Goods and they were double the price. These are great quality and won't wear out quickly and the have a professional look to them.

Small and great field of vision
I own the Kayenne's, Xceed and K180's. I do open water ( saltwater ) and train in both indoor and outdoor pools. Overall the MP Xceed are my favorite, but I also have found the k180's very useful, especially in the pool versus open water.. Why? they don't fog up easily. The outdoor pool I train in gets very hot in the summer, so I overheat swimming pretty quickly. and the k180's are the only ones that don't fog. Also the strap is a little easier to deal with than the Xceed. They are small and fit pretty shallow in the eye socket. I had to play around to figure out where they would fit comfortably before I started using them in the pool. . So I do understand the people who complain they leak, or cause eye pressure and pain.. Especially if the strap is too high on the head.. really creates some painfully pressure. With the mirrored I have noticed odd reflections as well.. like others have noted. The field of vision is not as great as the Xceed, but close enough considering the price difference.I have a very large nose bridge, and these are comfortable. ( more than the Xceed ).I own both the smoke and mirrored. If I only had one to choose I would go mirrored since sunlight outside is a bigger issue for me. If I were only swimming indoors than I would go with the smoke.

From the looks of it, the latest Aqua Sphere offering - Michael Phelps approved
UPDATE 22 OCT 2015:I wrote this review before it was being marketed as a Michael Phelps goggle, but I did see him start to use the K180 when he switched sponsors. Nonetheless, I still love these goggles as they are the only ones that fit me comfortably and seal for an entire swim session without leaking.I did my best to conduct research into the release dates for Aqua Sphere's goggle offerings, but couldn't find much information from them other than inquiring directly. The Kayenne looks to have been first released in May 2009 with the K180 coming out in October of 2011 or early 2012. The Kaiman is obviously much older than the Kayenne, with a release date of around 2000. The Mako was released in 2005. The Kaiman Exo is supposed to be the latest, but other than the Exo material, i couldn't tell a huge difference from the original Kaiman. From all of the fitness magazines and online sources, the Kayenne has been highly recommended for triathlons and competitive swims due to the better peripheral visibility. I have the Kayenne small fit (which leaks MUCH less than the regular fit) and can attest to the greater visibility. The K180 is also touted as having 180 degrees of view, but in reality the K180 is basically an indoor pool race goggle with SLIGHTLY more visibility. However, the Kayenne small fit still leaks from time to time, especially when encountering some mild chop in the water. The K180 on the other hand, stays sealed for nearly 2 hours in the pool. I don't have any issues with fogging with either the K180 or Kayenne, but the K180 is just a lot sleeker, lighter, more compact, and stays sealed/leak-free. The straps look uncomfortable, but they are actually easy to adjust and very comfortable. The adjustable nose piece is very convenient, but I found that the Large (standard piece) works well for me. The K180 actually has the EXO material in some parts of the goggles to provide durability and comfort. I had purchased these goggles before I realized Michael Phelps switched sponsors to Aqua Sphere, and the promo photos all show him with these green K180s and what appear to be mirrored lenses. I guess he must like these as well if he intends to compete with them. I read that Amanda Beard uses the Kayenne, so all the more power to her - but I felt the Kayenne was not as hydrodynamic as the K180s and maybe not even as comfortable as the K180s. I have the K180s on the losest strap setting and they just seal very well on my face. That said, I highly recommend the K180 but also you should check out the Kayenne as that offers the level of peripheral vision needed for a more comfortable triathlon swim. The K180 is still more of a race goggle than an open water goggle in terms of visibility and design. I am usually in the pool doing drills and practicing for 1-2 hours a day, and these are just very comfortable to use without any leaks or fogging. The Kayenne Small still leaks and fogs, as well as gives me a headache.Overall: 5/5 stars, comfortable, very sleek, compact, and lightweight with interchangeable nosepieces. Offers marginally more visibility than a traditional race goggle. Seals up almost perfectly on my face at the loosest strap setting! Kayenne Small still leaks no matter what I do with the adjustments.

Soldi spesi bene.
