Perfect for day hikes! Highly recommend!
Perfect for day hikes. Got it for a trip to Sedona, AZ. Hold plenty of water and I like that it has two separate compartments with plenty of storage in each. Front pouch has netted zip storage as well as sleeves. Fits well, wears easy and is adjustable for a wider person like me. I would highly recommend.

I'd recommend this product
I purchased the Ridge Recon Hydration Pack for a 185 mile mtn biking trip and was imprressed with the product. The material is made of high quality fabric. I'd recommend this product. I had a question and e-mailed the company, I received a prompt response back from the owner. I was impressed by his customer service.

Bladder cap threads do not match bladder.
I am so disappointed in the quality of the bladder. The refill cap threads do not match the bladder making it impossible to seal. I gently tried 30 times, each one resulting in leaks.

Leaky mouthpiece. Nice backpack though.
Mouth piece leaked and filled my trunk with water leaving me thirsty on my hike. The back pack is amazing quality.

Really comfortable, easy to use
Really comfortable, easy to use, pockets are big enough for all my basic hiking needs, and the straps make it easy to clip extras on to the pack externally, like the small first aid kit I travel with. The only downsides are that the bite valve can be a little difficult to draw water from, and when I had ice water in the bladder, it sweat a little more than I was expecting, causing some dampness inside the upper pocket. But overall I was very happy with this product and it compares favorably to its more expensive counterparts.
