Excellent Shears
These are incredibly heavy duty shears and are perfectly suited to cut seat belts and break glass when required. They are ergonomically well designed for either use as shears or as a tool to break glass.

Heavy, overpriced and terrible performance. AVOID.
I am a Specialist Paramedic in the UK.I bought a pair of these Spencer shears, as i had seen other paramedics use them on jobs, and thought that they looked hardcore. I had wanted them for years, and decided to treat myself (and my ego, if im honest). At nearly half a kilogram in weight, they are literally (not figuratively) ten times the weight of the standard issue tuffcut scissors, and at £40 they are twenty times the price, assuming your service doesnt provide them for free! All of this I could maybe live with, but the biggest surprise was yet to come. I tried using them on three different jacket sleeves; a cheap leather jacket, a raincoat and one of those superdry parka jackets with three zips (you know, the ones that everyone was wearing 4 years ago). On the first two jackets, the Spencers were not as quick as the £2 pair, and the Spencers were hopeless at getting through the cuffs of the Superdry jacket. The £2 tuff cuts went through everything with no trouble at all.I asked a few fellow ambulance staff who described the same experience as me, so I don't think that this can really be put down as a one-off faulty item. So, at 20 x the price and 10 x the weight of generic tuffcuts, with very weak performance, why would anyone buy these shears?I returned mine, and i would thoroughly discourage anyone else from getting them.

Very happy they do what they say on the tin. Only down side is the weight

The Ultimate Shears!
I don't own a pair...yet, but I have used those belonging to colleagues. These are the ultimate in shears and will cut through any clothing, just warn your colleagues before using them as I am sure they will lop off fingers with ease. The downside is that they are big and heavy which has stopped me from buying them as proper trauma jobs; where these are very useful are few and far between.Having said that, I would give these a good and loving home, if someone wanted to buy a set for me.
