I’m allergic to soy so can’t use regular soy sauce and I’ve missed it - but no more! You cannot taste a difference; this tastes exactly like soy sauce! Now I’m doing all sorts of making up for lost time and cooking all sorts of Asian food thanks to this! Love it!

LIFE CHANGING
I have been allergic to soy for the past ten years. This is BY FAR the best soy free soy sauce. I almost cried when I first tried it because it tastes just like soy sauce. It is very expensive, so I only use it for sushi or as a garnish and use coconut aminos for the rest. I’m so obsessed with this I even bring it with me to get sushi!

Flavor builder
Miso, light and dark is an ingredient that I have used for years, most often to build flavors but also when my grand daughter is home for a quick cup of broth. This version without soy has good flavor, similar to dark miso. The added benefit is that if you have allergy concerns or concerns about hormone intake from soy product, this product should solve this issue. Try adding some this product to vegetable beef soup, our family enjoys it in the soup and I also make it part of my pot roast recipe.

Dark, rich and amazing
Because of family members with soy allergies, we have had to seek out alternatives to a lot of the food we love. This fava bean miso paste has come around at the best time since we all love Japanese cuisine and especially love miso soup. It has a very rich and salty flavor that on spot of miso. I don’t think I would be able to tell the difference between this and soy miso paste. It made for some really delicious soup and has been great as an ingredient in every dish so far. Even if you don’t have allergies or soy sensitivity, this is something you should have ready to go in your fridge.

Savory, I like this a lot
This is a fantastic miso paste. It works well for adding a rich savory flavor to meals.It's the first time my family tried a non-soy miso, and we were all happy with the flavor. It mixes well with other flavors to make good marinades or soup bases.
