Brilliant for one pot cooking
I have fancied getting a tagine dish ever since visiting Morocco, but wasn't sure it would earn its place in our tiny kitchen. Now I wish I had bought this earlier - it's brilliant! The fact it is non-stick makes it even better than the traditional ones, I reckon! Really good way of cooking on the stove top without burning, and can be used for a range of dishes, not just traditional North African cuisine.

INTIGNIS Moroccan tagine cooking pot: Moroccan home cooking made easy, or use just as a pot!
The media could not be loaded. The Moroccan tagine cooking pot is a traditional North African cookware piece known for its unique cone-shaped lid and wide, shallow base. Traditional tagines are often used over charcoal or low flames, but modern versions are compatible with stovetops or ovens. Usually these are made from clay or ceramic, but Intignis have made a version from cast aluminium while retaining all of the original features that make a Moroccan tagine cooking pot so unique and special. I’m no stranger to the Intignis brand as I own two of their brilliant wok pans - one in orange, and one in black - and have found that their Greblon M3 non-stick coating the best I’ve ever used for cooking, so I was over the moon to find that this Moroccan tagine had a Greblon M3 coating. The stainless steel induction base on this pot is compatible with all cookers, hobs - induction, gas, halogen, ceramic, electric stoves - oven use to 260°C and even open fires! Externally, the pot’s shape looks like a traditional tagine, only larger, and with its luscious, black-orangey-red rising flame colour scheme, I think it looks absolutely stunning! In use, the conical lid of the Intignis pot allows moisture to circulate and condense, promoting self-basting during cooking which keeps dishes moist and flavourful, especially when slow cooking and braising, as the design retains almost all of the moisture and flavours, resulting in very tender, aromatic dishes. The base of the pot enables ingredient layering, with meats and vegetables placed at the bottom and with more delicate items, like fruits or nuts, towards the top helping to absorb flavours without overcooking. When combined with spices like saffron, cinnamon, cumin, and paprika, the Intignis tagine can be used to create authentic Moroccan flavours at home! The Intignis tagine is also useful for tougher cuts of meat or dishes that benefit from slow, gentle heat and the melding of flavours. One other aspect of the Moroccan tagine cooking pot I really like is that the base will accept any 28cm lid making it a very versatile piece of kitchen equipment. Cleaning the pot is easy too, and I use a silicone spatula to scrape the surface of the pot when it is cool, then wipe the inside with a soapy sponge before rinsing. The Moroccan tagine cooking pot isn't just a cooking vessel; it's a cultural symbol reflecting centuries-old culinary traditions. Its unique design and slow-cooking abilities contribute to creating aromatic and flavourful dishes, making it a prized addition to any kitchen, and for any cook passionate about exploring global cuisines.

One of the best cooking pots I have ever used
The media could not be loaded. I have owned many expensive cookware including those luxury cast iron pots. I can confirm that this Moroccan Tagine pot is on par with those few times more expensive pots in terms of performance. First, the meats slow cooked with this pot were very tasty, confirmed by my little girl who is very picky. Other than slow cooking meats, I have also used it for every day meals like frying vegetables. Besides that, the pot is lightweight so is very easy to wash and to keep clean with hand wash. In overall, I can't recommend this cooking pot enough for anyone who loves to cook because it is lightweight, easy to wash, durable, excellent quality, and most importantly, foods produced are delicious!

A beautiful looking premium pot that creates succulent dishes
This is a beautiful looking and well made pot. It immediately draws the eye and is extremely attractive as well as very functional. The lid itself is self basting, trapping and rediustributing moisture back into the food, creating extremely succulent dishes which I have really enjoyed. It is very light being made of cast aluminium and is immediately clearly a premium product looking at the stone effect surface and the beautiful looking base. Everything about it looks well made, from the handles to the cooking surface to the base itself. It looks really robust and after using was very easy to clean. It can be used in almost any environment from gas and electric hobs to induction heating, an electric cooker and even on a fire. The premium base can also be used on its own and given its standard size of 28cm can be used with other lids when appropriate. This is a great addition to the kitchen and I really like it a lot. The price reflects the premium product and is good value for the item.

Premium and Versatile Cooking Pot
Great quality, super lightweight but sturdy cooking pan. Nice design, while the shape is a little peculiar looking, it does work exactly as intended and locks in the flavour and moisture, perfect for stews and curries.Works flawlessly on an induction hob and the rubber handles don’t get hot, even after a long while simmering. I've also used it in the oven at a lower temperature and again works perfectly, so great versatility.Easy to wipe clean due to the non-stick coating and I've also put in the dishwasher a couple of times with no ill effects.Overall, great product, very happy.
