These are large mats so do check they fit your table. I've not yet put very warm plates on them as I'm a bit unsure if they will cope.

The placemats are larger than I expected and look really good on both the red and black sides. I have had no problem with them slipping and they wipe clean really easily. My only issue is that the cup mats look cheap as they are just a single colour. Would have been much nicer if they had a gold trim like the placemats.

I must admit I do like the look of them but I don’t think they are value for money as there are a couple of things I don’t like about them. They do not stay in one place on my table so I have had to glue some anti-slip backing on them and they are now fine but I am unable to use the yellow side. I bought them for the blue side so that doesn’t really matter. I am forever wiping them because coffee cup marks are always appearing on them. Also, I put a plate on one which I had taken out of the microwave and it has permanently marked it. If it wasn’t the look I wanted I think I would have binned them after only having them for 2 weeks. I don’t think for the price they are good value.
