Makes EXCELLENT Poached Eggs!!!
Disclaimer: I do not own a microwave and I used these to poach eggs on the stovetopThese egg poachers are EXCELLENT! I posted pictures so you can see my set up but I already cooked my eggs so imagine eggs in the cups and the water bubbling.I love some Eggs Benedict and make a decent hollandaise sauce but it's always the hassle of poaching the eggs that is aggravating. Either you lose a lot of the whites in the water or you strain your eggs to get rid of watery whites and lose egg that way. I LOVE these poacher cups because I don't lose any egg, they have a nice shape, and after practice I have GREAT results. I oiled the cups with evoo, brought water up to boil & then lowered to aggressive simmer, put the egg filled cups in, (used clips to handle & removed during cooking), kept heat on, put on lid & timed 4 minutes. Removed lid, not done yet so I used large spoon to gentle ladle hot water on top of eggs. After 1 more minute (I did not put lid back on) I used some clips to remove them and they were done with the whites all set/cooked but with runny yolks. PERFECT!VERY Happy and HIGHLY Recommend!!!

Runny Yolks, A Good Thing
I was happy to find this “Silicone Poached Egg Cooker” because they can also be used on the stovetop (see pic.) I love poached eggs, but don’t care for the taste of microwaved eggs. These egg poachers are a little large, so I needed to get out my 3-quart pan, which would easily hold both sets of egg poachers. I put a little butter into each egg cup and then placed the egg poacher into the pan while I brought about 1” of water to a boil, which took 2 minutes. I used the included brush to coat the egg cups with the melted butter. I added an egg to each silicone cup, topped them with salt and pepper, put the lid on the egg poacher, and then put the lid on the pan. I poached the eggs for 4 minutes, but the whites were still runny. I continued cooking them for another 2 minutes and they turned out perfectly—cooked whites with runny yolks. The white plastic lid did warp a little while poaching the eggs, but it still fits on the egg poacher. I was very happy with my steamed, poached eggs—they taste so much better than microwaved eggs... The egg poacher sits in the water without tipping, and I was able to lower and raise the egg poacher out of the pan without having to use hot pads. I like that I can put the silicone egg poacher, it’s lid, the brush, and spatula into the dishwasher.

Great Little Set with Accessories!
My favorite thing about this set next to the color is that it comes with accessories! The little basting brush and spatula are a great (and necessary) addition! I have used this in a bunch of scenarios and each time, there was a little learning curve. The directions say to pierce the yolk prior to microwaving. Do this. It will explode otherwise. It is not necessary when using these in the oven or stovetop. I cooked eggs using the oven and air fryer and found it would have been much faster to go with the stovetop. The microwave is the fastest, but I don't like an obliterated or broken yolk. The instructions were clear and this product was easy to use and understand. The amount of water varies depending on method, but you'll figure it out!

Pretty good
Well first thing, I have not and will not ever be using these in the microwave. I'm weird about eggs and anything in the microwave really. But I used them in a pot of water.Pros, cooks my eggs nicely. No uncooked whites but runny yolk. My eggs don't come out in a pool of water (egg water, ew grosses me tf out). Dishwasher safeCons: don't stack well for storing. They are unbalanced in the pot of simmering/boiling water so I'm always worried they will tip over. The steam does leave some water around the egg but the covers make it easier to pour out before removing the egg. Wish it was more non stick so it didnt require to be sprayed with oil.I use these for poached eggs but little omlette bites would probably turn out really good in these too. Microwave at your own discretion lol

Works Well
This egg poacher works well. I have not tried it in the microwave yet but I have used it on the stove top. The only think that I would change would be that I could do a singe egg at a time / single not double cavity. The width of it makes it tricky to get in and out of a pot. It also means that if you are doing 1 egg you have to add water into the second cup. In addition, the center is heavier and with the "handles" on the outside it has a tendency to want to fold toward the center a bit.

Poached eggs without the fuss
Will take some trial-and-error to dial in the cooking process, but it did make some pretty good poached eggs without too much fuss, and I think it will be better next time. Follow the instructions, though - they say to grease them before adding the eggs, and I was dubious whether that would actually help. Yes, it does, at least in the cleaning process - the one that I smeared a bit of butter on cleaned off rather easily, but the ungreased one had egg protein cooked onto it and had to scrub a bit to get it off - way harder to clean. Also, typically when making a poached egg, you turn the heat off to let it cook, but I had to turn the heat back on, I think because the silicone doesn't transfer all the heat through, so it needs a bit of help - your mileage may vary, but I think next time I'll try leaving the gas on for a bit while cooking, just to keep it at a low simmer. All in all, very pleased, for a 'one hit wonder' product, that will help make some nice poached eggs without having to fuss with worrying about how old (or new) the eggs are, straining the eggs to remove stringy/loose bits (phew), etc.
