The media could not be loaded.  This set of climbing holds are a great value and even better at $4 or less per hold with hardware since a coupon was available during time of purchase. We have a large hanging board installed in our home basement gym and wanted to add some holds for the kids to practice. I did not want those plasticky slippery type holds found at the home improvement stores to use for fitness while staying home to be safe.Packaging:The holds, hardware, and manual arrives in a brown box with just english text stating the contents. Each of the holds are individually wrapped in their own bubble wrap bags. This protects the holds from scraping against other holds to avoid having gouges or sharp sections of the holds. Each of the types of hardware including the large L wrench are in their own zip loc type baggie.Hardware and Holds:The bolts are large and stainless steel. The T Nuts have four prongs with some decent depth to bite into the wood when hammered. Washers are actually fixed to the hold in advanced on the larger holes for the bolt. The smaller recessed hole that is optional to prevent spin out or rotation of the hold does not include a washer. The holds have a great texture for grip not only for my chalked up hands but also for the sole/heel of my 5.10 climbing shoes. Assembly only requires me to drill the hole for the T nuts and then screw the bolt followed by the screw.

My kids love these holds on their garage climbing wall. They love the colors, the texture and the durability. They climb these over and over.

I am a do it yourself-er type of mom. I like doing projects around my house but am no means an expert… for my sons 5th birthday I wanted to put up a rock wall in his bedroom. These grips are awesome! Soooo easy to install and compatible with 3/8’’-16’’ t nuts that I bought off Amazon. I used a 7/16 spade drill bit which it recommends but also then used a 9/16 spade bit and this made the t nuts much easier to push in and tighten. I can’t tell a different in terms of the strength of the hold. It comes with an Allen wrench. I didn’t have the correct size drill bit so that was annoying. I made this at night while my kids were sleeping and so I used an extra bolt with a large washer (I had in my tool chest) to tighten the empty t nut holes- (this way we can change the routes as we want!) instead of hammering them in- which would’ve woken up the entire house. The colors are great and the texture is rough like you’d see at a climbing gym. The shapes/molds of them is also great and can be angled in different ways to allow for right or left hand grabs. There is a second screw hole that can be used to ensure they don’t twist on the board but I am not sure if this will be the final route yet so I haven’t done them yet.

Taking these out they feel like quality pieces. Instructions are simple, I had to buy a 9/16 drill bit. I installed these for a Christmas gift for my daughter. Baby fun included a couple extra installation pieces which is nice. I drilled some extra hold for flexibility in rearranging. I just need to get a few extra back pieces.Only thing is the bolts were greasy but maybe they need to be, not a big issue just carefully screw in and don’t touch the holds. The bolts left a black residue on my hands that easily washed off with soap and water.I’m looking forward for my daughter to try it out.!

Our grandson was born with biceps and needs to climb. My husband built him a climbing wall for the backyard, and I picked these grip holds. They are textured and have a grip similar to rock and are not slippery like the plastic holds. I highly recommend them to anyone building their own climbing wall.

Overall, a nice set of holds. Non-slip grip, colorful. The kids love them. However, I bought some extra T-nuts separately (3/8"-16) and these bolts do not thread into them. Therefore, I presume the provided hardware is metric. It would be nice if the product description provided the exact technical specifications of the bolts and nuts. Also, be advised that the safety belt can't be adjusted smaller than 30 inches, so it's useless (even dangerous) for little kids.

Nice quality for the price. The holds are reasonably sized and have both good texture and fun colors. Excellent for a home climbing wall or kiddie wall. It is nice that they come with the appropriate T-nuts and bolts as well. A word of caution however. These are sized slightly different from your typical US climbing hold size so I would make a specific panel for these holds or make sure to get other holds of the same size for interchangeability, otherwise you are going to have a limited number of places that you can put them. Alternatively, you could just get the slightly larger bolts and standard t-nut sizes and they would still likely fit just fine as there is a small amount of wiggle room for the bolts that come with the holds.
