Purchased this to use on an older motorbike, some of the screws were a bit seized and rusted, I needed the pressure as well as the turning, so a battery impact wouldn't have been very effective without the weight behind it, this worked great. Comes with some nice strong bits, is a solid unit with some good weight to it, and it worked brilliantly.Also used it on a screw that was teetering right on the limit of being rounded off, this dug into the screw and made its own grooves, gripping right onto the screw and loosening it off.Very handy tool to have to save some frustration, and you get to hit it with a hammer, so if a screw has been annoying you to remove, it's definitely calming!

For the money spent on this impact driver, I wasn't expecting it to be so well made. Its a nice heavy duty tool and worrh every penny. Recommended.

I got this for a particular job. I've been working on fitting a new rim onto an electric bike wheel. The twit who fitted it initially over-tightened the Allen screws holding the brake rotor on. That meant that I couldn't remove the spokes, so the job stalled.My buddy tried cutting slots in the Allen screws and loosening them with an electric impact driver. It worked on 4 of the screws, but just chewed up the heads on the other 2.I bought this impact driver as a last-ditch attempt. It worked like a dream. A couple of firm taps with a 1 lb hammer was just enough to break the threads free and then just remove the bolts easily.I hadn't spotted this at first, but you can remove the bit collet to find a 1/2" square drive. This will be really useful for removing and fitting bottom brackets. This job is a nightmare as the tool doesn't have a lot of purchase and needs a lot of torque from a very large spanner. That means that the tool slips easily and causes skinned knuckles and a lot of bad language! It's not an everyday job, but I dread it when it does come around. The impact driver will keep the tool square and supply the torque to break the threads loose.It's well enough made and I'm sure that it will tackle really heavy-duty jobs as well, like removing and fitting brake drums on cars etc. I can see that this tool is going to earn its place in the tool box!

Nice tool, well made & does the job. Comes in a nice tin to keep it all together.

Didn’t like the action onimpact, did’nt move the stiffest screws

At first this did not work. When I used more force on the harmer, it worked. It may take getting used to.Note: mine arrived preset on the right (for tightning) and I had to turn it to the left before using it to loosen the car's disc from the rotor.

Desde que lo tengo no se me resiste ningún tornillo de estos que dan guerra... Alguno me he encontrado redondeado e imposible de extraer, pues con un dremel le haces una ranura, metes una cabeza plana y con el destornillador de impacto fuera, sea el que sea. Lo tengo para uso moderado, casa-jardín, y perfecto.

Avevo un bullone con testa a stella che non riuscivo ad estrarre e rovinato dai tentativi.Risolto in pochi secondi con questo attrezzo!Funziona perfettamente, solido e tutto in una cassetta.

Unos tornillos complicados pero con paciencia y ésta herramienta solucioné el problema
